Fuck Abbott. There is ample evidence that he is a loathsome sack of turds. If anything offers me the opportunity to think worse of him, I will accept. The Rio Grande arises about 10 miles west of Silverton Colorado (if you are a corvid). The weather patterns in that area do not pay much attention to the continental divide. Last time we were in western Colorado, the lakes and rivers were showing how very much deeper they used to be. Colorado is the primary water source for a large fraction of the US. It will vary some, but the way it looked, I would not be surprised to see Arroyo Grande to be barely enough to get Abbott’s wheels wet, in his lifetime.
The Rio Grande has never been an especially deep river anyway. It’s not navigable in any real sense. Maybe around its mouth. Otherwise, I don’t think it gets much deeper than 50 feet at any point along its course and usually much shallower.
Sadly, it appears that he is Sirius here.

Yeah, I am very enthusiastic about the idea of a bunch of guys randomly identifying things in the sky as drones and shooting at them. Some of the bullets will miss, but those will fall harmlessly to the ground.
