Not really a new idea, but the sentient piece of excrement that calls itself Mike Pence wants to “err on the side of life,” even when there’s no chance of life.
I’m not sure there is a politician who bugs me more than Jim Jordan. Today, he took aim at the FBI’s Christopher Wray, a Trump-appointed Republican, accusing him of, among other things, misuse of resources for political purposes. The irony, of course, is that this is exactly what Jordan is doing, as he tries desperately to protect Trump (and perhaps himself) at all costs, even threatening to defund the FBI.
To his credit, Wray mentioned how many criminals, including child predators, that the FBI has put away over the last year. Yes, let’s defund an agency that catches child predators, all to protect a crook.
When Jack Smith eventually starts charging people in regard to 1/6, I sure hope Jordan becomes a defendant.
Of course, Jordan wasn’t the only clown in the car at today’s hearing.

Gaetz and Wray got into a heated exchange after the Florida Republican alleged that the bureau has “the lowest level of trust in the FBI’s history.”
“People trusted the FBI more when J. Edgar Hoover was running the place than when you are, and the reason is because you don’t give straight answers,” Gaetz said.
“Respectfully congressman, in your home state of Florida, the number of people applying to come work for us and devote their lives working for us is over up over 100%,” Wray responded.
To be fair to Jim Jordan, Wray and the FBI catching child predators and their enablers is a pretty good reason for Jim Jordan to not like him.
“Making it harder to catch child predators” is 100% an unstated plank in the Republican platform.
They’re always thinking of the children! Constantly! Isn’t that a mark of character?
