I am in no way defending this idiot. However, I don’t think that dress is a lot worse than some of the stuff you see at premiers and award shows. I don’t know a thing about fashion. I have one dress I wear for funerals. I think, though, that all she needed was spanx for the belly button issue, and as for her erm fall out? (don’t they use double sided tape for that?) Is that much cleavage unusual at a suit and tie sort of event? I’m asking because I have no earthly idea. I’m basing this on what I see on the Teee Veee.
Other than that: I will never have the opportunity to go to a show like that. I do, though, know better than recording, singing out loud, or vaping (if I smoked at all). And I live in a double wide, in an actual mobile home i.e. trailer park.
I think it depends on what your goals are. A dress like that means that you want people to think of you primarily in terms of your breasts. So it would make sense for an aspiring sex symbol actress, an escort, or a trophy wife, less so for a Congress woman.
That makes sense. I can’t imagine anyone I know wearing that, but I’ve seen worse so I asked.
It does bother me that people drag her for the GED thing. A lot of people get their lives together with GEDs. She is giving that accomplishment a bad name. This is really not fair to those who worked hard, got a GED, and went on to a better life. She got it, and proceeded to show how incredibly stupid she is, and turned her life into a circus.
She failed the GED multiple times. Rumor (just rumor) is that she paid someone to take it and pass for her. Alas, she hasn’t gone on to a better her life, the majority of Americans are worse off because her and other like her polluting democracy and discourse. Some have died. She should be “dragged” every day of her wretched life.

Maybe I’m a snob but I prefer more education on the part of those who make my laws. Similarly, I’d like the guy poking around in my mouth to have some familiarity with teeth and gums. And I’d like the guy making my takeout food to know something about food safety rules.
Edited to add that I bet that everyone working in her office is better qualified than she is, down to the secretary answering the phone or the person who empties the wastebasket at the end of the day.

She is effective at playing the game of raping the country that has become popular recently among one party. Business, politics, and show biz are all about celebrity, ego, and grift/graft. That half the American public is cheering this movement on is appalling.

Please stop saying that. In ‘20, the vote total was about 158M, or two-thirds of the electorate, so, overall, less than a third voted for Individual-ONE, just over a third for Joe. And I would say that about half of the former group voted for CFSG because the Democrats have been a massive failure at not making most Americans’ lives less sucky and would like to let them know that by the available means. (I have still not figured out how the Rs have been able to sustain the con that they are better for economy – perhaps something to do with pounding on a lie until it becomes gospel.)
