Cornyn’s latest anti-Muslim ad is complaining that Islam is behind terrorist attacks like the attack on “bon-dee” beach. Thus he is fighting to get rid of the tax- exempt status for the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), because “no American tax dollars should go to support terrorism”.
How is CAIR a terrorist organization? Back in 2009, there was a federal case against another Muslim organization that provided funds to the Muslim Brotherhood, and CAIR was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator. No case was ever prosecuted against CAIR.
But apparently those accusations are enough to link in R minds CAIR to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Gov. Abbot designated the group a terrorist org in Texas.

Hey Cornyn, I agree that no taxpayer funds should go to support terrorist organizations. Are you going to move to defund ICE and CBP?
There are a lot of transgender people who are transitioning or who physically still look their previous gender. Those are the obvious targets of bathroom bills.
I would assume government agencies would have access to identity information on their employees, including legal names and legal identity. Makes it easier to target them for enforcement.
So don’t lock the door. No one is forcing you.
Leaving the door open is sometimes my best and only option in an emergency where I just have to pee, and that feels wrong. It’s loud. Just partition the goddamn urinals and don’t look, just as men don’t look.
The people who are doing this allegedly for the protection of women, and more accurately the women going along with this, do not fear LOOKING.
They fear RAPE.
Aside from the jollies they get from controlling others, of course, and wanting to make trans people no longer exist, and trying to enforce their standards of femininity on women.
Over and over the excuse is that they’re trying to protect women from assault. That is, rape. They seem convinced that if a man enters the women’s toilet mass rape will ensue. Or something. That the only intent a trans woman could possibly have to enter a women’s toilet is raping women, that it couldn’t possibly be about pissing, shitting, or just making sure one’s make up and hair are in order or washing one’s hands.
The irrational terror is the point.
I don’t care if they look. If seeing what I’ve got makes them feel better about what they’ve got, I have made this a better world.
As you yourself point out, they don’t actually “fear rape”. It’s just the excuse they use to hurt both trans and cis women.
No, they don’t. They fear that their little 2 incher will become a rock-hard 3-incher. They don’t want to be attracted to (gasp!) A MAN!
The MEN fear either arousal, lack in comparison, or that someone else will get “their” women.
The WOMEN who are applauding this bullshit do, in fact, fear rape.
Most of the fear is just free-floating fear of anything not exactly like themselves. Of course massively amplified by carefully targeted propaganda.
Tell them they’re rugged and brave while carefully turning them into cringing cowards afraid ofveverything and soon you own their minds and souls
