What I’m saying, is that anyone who hates Blacks or Hispanics, also hates Jews; anyone who hates LGBTQ people, also hates Jews; and anyone who hates Muslims, also hates Jews. Jews should never trust anyone who hates other groups, even if they claim to be our friends. Does anyone here disagree?
If by “anyone” you mean “any non-Jew”, then sure, although that seems like a weird way to phrase it. More importantly, though, I think that @Broomstick is right that bigotry defaults tend to embrace a lot of other groups as well. As in, a non-gay person who hates Blacks also hates gays, etc.
Absolutely. But as a straight white cis Jew, the most likely reason they will go after me is that I’m a Jew. And that’s a thing a lot of Jews think about.
I’m also a member of some gay organizations and I’ve “promoted the trans gender lifestyle”, so i suppose i could be on the blocks for that, as well.
True, a lot of us are used to “passing” in the straightwhitecis “default space” more readily than non-straight, non-white, or non-cis people are able to. But “passing” doesn’t equate to “safe”.
After deleting the post, Kolb wrote in another Facebook comment on his page: “I stated that Fauci should be executed for his crimes…. I guess these people think I am going to be upset & bothered by these phone calls. I couldn’t be laughing any harder.”
TMJ4 News reporter Rebecca Klopf called Kolb about the post. He repeatedly declined to comment on any of her questions
I like how his response is basically “I’ve already called for the public execution of the target of a right-wing smear campaign, so I don’t know why anyone assumes I’m capable of any shame or remorse”.
A fair number of anti-LBGTQ/ani-Hispanic/anti-Muslim bigots are perfectly fine with Jews, as long as the men’ hats are black enough.
I dunno… In a lot of cases, if you just slightly scratch the surface of that “OK with Jews”, you’ll find things like “Jews have to survive until the End Times so they can all be nuked at once to fulfill the prophecies in my Bible fanfic”.
Hmmm, there’s a difference between “accepting as political strange bedfellows” and “perfectly fine with”, though. Would they want their daughter to marry one?
[ETA: yeah, and what @Chronos said.]
Still, a bit of a digression. The point is EVERYBODY is on the list.
At first, it’s the usual suspects. But as soon as those are gone, some folks who thought they were “IN” suddenly find they are not. Eventually, it turns out there was never really much of an in-group at all. Just a bunch of deluded mini-leopards who get their faces eaten by bigger leopards.
Y’all can keep playing “which victim group has it worse” all day long but in the long run, it’s going to be a philosophical debate nobody will be left to play or care about
And, really, all he had to say, if he wanted to do a bit of damage control, is something along the lines of “I’m sorry everyone, I shouldn’t have posted that. I was irritated about something unrelated and as much as I dislike Dr Fauci, that was over the line and was never meant to be taken seriously”.
True, it’s a thin line.
Well, exactly - there’s no danger of their daughter marrying a Haredi Jew, because they never marry out.
Telling MAGA that a demand for a hated figure’s public execution—even in the case of a non-criminal who hasn’t even been credibly accused of any illegal action—was not meant seriously is bound to anger and alienate at least half the base.
For MAGA, being egregiously and ludicrously in the wrong means you double down, not back down.
“If”.
He doesn’t care what non-MAGAs think about this, and the MAGAs love it. As far as he’s concerned, there’s no “damage” that needs controlling.
Correct, I originally didn’t include the “if he wanted to do a bit of damage control” part.
So true.
Off-topic, but as I didn’t recognize “Waukesha County” (even if I should have) I put in Google search the phrase “Waukesha County Supervisor Robert Kolb.”
And Google Search has become so sophisticated about NOT giving ANY information in the hits it generates–forcing users to click on at least one of the hits to get any additional information–that only one of the 24 I looked at mentioned that the county is in Wisconsin!
Well done, Google, you Evil Bastards! (

Fox News host claims pigeons don’t lay eggs.
Yes, I disagree.
I have personal experience of people who hate black people who genuinely do like and respect Jews. Ditto for anti-LGBTQ people but still OK with Jews.
Do a lot of people hate Jews? Yes. But not everyone hates Jews. While bigots tend to hate more than one group it is possible to be gentile, a bigot, but not bigoted towards Jews. Not as common as bigots that hate multiple groups including Jews, but they do exist.
Please note I do NOT say we should trust bigots of any sort. I am disagreeing with the notion that someone who hates a particular group will automatically hate Jews as well. Truth is, there are some bigots that don’t think about Jews at all, just the particular group(s) they hate.
Yes. That is true.
On the other hand, if you were a straight black Jew in the US being targeted for being black might be as likely or even more likely than being Jewish.
Not all bigots are that sort of Christian.
My racist in-laws were OK with their male relative marrying one (me). Despised black people, were perfectly fine with me. Probably more bothered by me being a Yankee, proudly discussed the one certain and a suspected Jew back a few generations in the family tree.
But, really, the point is:
While rare, there are converts. I do know a formerly Southern Baptist woman who converted to Judaism and married into a Lubavitch community. Is a still there, now a matriarch in the community with grands and great-grands.
So yes, it is possible for their daughter to marry a Haredi Jew but she would need to convert first. That is NOT an easy or quick task. I’d say her family of origin was one that didn’t care for black people but hadn’t largely thought about or formed an opinion about Jews. Pretty unusual and even, dare I say, unlikely but not only possible but it has occurred.
That fucker, Robert Kolb? Who wants Fauci executed?
Here’s his email - RKolb@waukeshacounty.gov
(acquired from Facebook)
With the hopefully-innocuous-enough email title “question about Manitowoc County”, I shared the following:
oh hey Rob,
Just wondering if all the administrators in Manitowoc County are as much a buncha willfully pig-fucking-ignorant, fascist pieces of worthless podunk shit as you are.
Hey have a good haha laugh over that too, right? A-ha-ha-ha!
Remember these very words…let them marinate into your psyche, let them define you, when you’re sleeping, or shitting, or just about anything, and remember them until your death, which will, without question, be miserable, Fuzznuts.
Evil assholes seldom have good endings.
Doubting I’ll get a response, but if so - might have to engage in a bit of pig mud wrestling, which is something I rarely engage in, but this might be a fun little avenue to blow off some steam.
