For the non-WI-native readers out there, it is pronounced “Waw kah SHAW” . Not Waw KEY sha.
It does follow the rule that towns in WI have to have a WAU in them.
I know how to pronounce it only because I heard Ritchie say it on Happy Days. I didn’t even recognize it the first time I saw it in print because my eight year old brain pictured it as “Walkishaw”.
Update: He’s been fined $35,000.
Now tell them how to pronounce “Oconomowoc”. I never had trouble with that, but it seems to scare people.

Yes, I think that was the founding idea–it’s just that they didn’t get to be so good at it until recently (likely due to advancements in AI). A decade ago you could input some specific terms and get a fair amount of information just from the text of the hits in the list. Now you mostly cannot.
I sure that’s much more profitable for Google (and hence inevitable).

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t cook often but have prepared dinner for multiple nights with each portion costing a couple of dollars.
Double ditto. $5 per serving is $20 per meal for a family of four, making $60/day (let’s call it $50 on the assumption that breakfast is cheaper) or $350/week > $1400/month for home-prepared meals. I know food prices are up in Trumpflationland, but that still seems quite high.
I just looked at my last 2 years spending on groceries and it came to $2.80/day. One person.
