My sister had a theory: all the focus on the FBI policy has been put on Kash Patel’s comments about bestiality, which has distracted from the other elements of that change that includes prostitution and sex trafficking. So while everyone is up in arms about the “both sides” of bestiality, nobody is calling out the sex trafficking part.
Now does the existing law prevent victims of sex trafficking from joining the FBI? Or is it the perpetrators, the criminals, that are being let in?
Her theory is that this is a deliberate distraction, political theater from Patel.
Just how many victims of sex trafficking and former prostitutes are we taking about? How many bestiality participants?
The scary think isn’t Senator Turdville’s pronouncements. But that there’s a large audience who’s eating that shit up, not laughing and pointing at the obvious moron.
The dates are VERY much up in the air (and the 2026 date on the bottom of that meme graphic is wildly misleading, even if it is the date on which the graphic was (re)posted).
I’m seeing dates from 2023 to 2025 for the “play the clip” interview with Kasie Hunt, and 2022 to 2024—in all sorts of months—for the “summer” when RFK Jr. made the “no vaccines” remark.
In short: this seems to have become some sort of Rashomon distortion where different people make differing claims.
You should use a reliable source, like Factcheck.org:
It was November 7, 2023 that the PBS NewsHour interview took place, where RKF Jr denied making the prior statement. And it was July 6, 2023 when RFK Jr made the original remark on the Lex Fridman podcast.
