On Medium.com, Berrien, 56, has an account that was following a transgender porn star named Jiz Lee and several other authors of sexually explicit essays. He also was following publications called “Sexography” and “Polyamory Today,” links that he scrubbed after being contacted by the Journal Sentinel.
Berrien had also “clapped for” — similar to “liked” on other social media — an article by Lee entitled “Ethical Porn” Starts When We Pay for It.”
Berrien used to follow pages for Jiz Lee, a transgender adult performer; Jessica Pin, a women’s health activist who produces content about female pleasure; and Smile Makers Collection, a sex toy brand.
Berrien also followed and liked posts by blogs such as Sexography, which bills itself as “an inclusive place for people to talk about and explore sexuality from all orientations, cultures, and perspectives,” and Polyamory Today, which covers non-monogamy.
And who is Barrien? He’s the new GOP candidate for Wisconsin Governor. The Milwaukee Journal author referred to him as a “MAGA wannabe”.
Interestingly, he very well could have turned this around and simply called it opposition research. Basically the Pete Townsend defense. Instead he went full Trump and blamed everyone else for looking into his past.
And he’s either brainwashed or gaslighting when he starts a sentence with “Democrats and their friends in the media…”. Because Democrats are well known for all their friends in the media.
And this is why we have to eliminate trans ideology from our country.
Because there’s folks who are in denial about their sexuality and need their big daddy government to stop them from being who they clearly are.
Well, at least Jiz Lee and Smile Makers will have him to thank for a big spike in traffic?
I mean, come on. It’s 2025 and people still don’t purge their trail BEFORE announcing a run. Defies the imagination.
Seriously though — a whole lot of these folks have this mental conception that there are NO “orientations” or “identities” but just temptations of perversion and the Devil just randomly hits you with one or more, that you then have to resist or hide to “stay normal”.
I do very much believe that to be true in a lot of cases. However, there’s also nothing wrong with consuming content made by (and/or for) trans people. You can be straight and like trans porn or like supporting trans people or enjoy reading things by an author with a different perspective or whatever. The problem is that, due to the stigma associated with being anything other than straight, a lot of people will reflexively distance themselves from it instead of just saying they enjoy it.
The whole ‘I don’t like it so you can’t do it’ thing is getting really old. Or maybe it’s “I want other people to think I don’t like it…” or even “I want to believe that I don’t like it…”

If two news paper articles is all it took to get him to drop out, I can’t imagine his skin is anywhere near thick enough to be the governor.
Yet the media cherry-picked a handful of individuals and written articles that came across my feed that I then followed (without the faintest clue as to an author’s lifestyle choices!) 6 or 7 years ago, and painted a salacious and sensational picture that was clearly targeted to force me out of this governor race. It was a major attack piece…

He really doesn’t get it. It’s not about what he was reading. While his base may have had a problem with those reading materials, the left really wouldn’t have. The issue was saying trans people are engaged in a “radical social experimentation” and " I will keep boys out of our daughters’ sports and locker rooms" and wanting to “stop the woke indoctrination”. In fact, so far as I can tell, the main reason for even telling the public about what he does online was to point out the hypocrisy.
