Given the results of all these searches, I hereby conclude the SDMB only has 89 active posters.

Interestingly, the girl that used to sit beside me had a bunch of cats (hmmm??? single woman and a bunch of cats???). She and I have known each other for about 20 years. I’ve always liked her and we’ve always gotten along great–despite the fact that I think she’s nuts (and have for a long time). Hmmm??? Single woman, bunch of cats, and loco–I think there was a thread about this recently.
Anyway, she would tell me of various experiences and situations with her cats, and the only name of one of her cats that I can remember is “Mr. G.” What a co-inky-dink!

Ursa Major, 1016 posts, .80 per day. Last posted 4-9-00 at 10:48 PM, on “Coming to London?” That means, in the almost exactly 5 months he was active, his post-per-day was a phenomenal 6.77. And then, poof, nothing! What sudden fate must have befallen him? He’s an enigma, I tell you, a conclusion supported by his utter lack of profile information.
To the north:
Lucy, 1 post the day after she joined, on the Mystery of Oak Island. PPD of 0, of course. She also has no profile information.

To the North:

To the South:

OK, my neighbor to the South was Brimstone. S/he made one post about funerals from a GD thread. Was promptly nominated for the “Best First Post Award” by a [sub]guest[/sub] and then never heard from again.
To the North we have tucker0171 who made three post in one of the first “Ways to first base without getting a hit” threads and then left for ever.
Fascinating how many of us have deadbeats surrounding us.
mlerose participated in the Secret Santa this year, so I suppose she’s lurking around somewhere.
Senegalkat: IIRC, the “sudden fate” that befell Ursa Major was Melingate. I think he left as part of that. Also, I think he used to be called Papabear. (Why do I remember this stuff?)
