Prick. No wonder you have problems with the opposite sex.
You’re thinking about Christina Aguilera. Better choice IMO.
I heard on the radio this morning that when Durst heard that she said she had only had sex with one man he responded, “Yeah…one man AT A TIME.”
Jesus, that’s a great attitude you got there.
I’m not a big fan of the whole “wait 'til marriage” thing myself, but i can’t imagine trying to fuck someone for no other purpose than to make them miserable.
I thought what Blalron said was pretty amusing. Fairly on the mark, too.
I knew one [ONE] person in high school who felt that way. She had serious convictions. Her father is a minister. Etc, etc, blah blah.
She would mention her strongly-held beliefs about “waiting until marriage” and I would just shrug and say, “Whatever. But you won’t.”
Guess what?
She’s never been married, but she looooooves the sex!
I don’t think it was funny in the least.
I knew a young lady back in school who had the belief that she wanted to wait until she got married to have sex. Nothing wrong with that. There was a boy in school who decided to make it his mission to make sure she slept with him before we all graduated.
He pursued her. He told her he loved her. Told her he wanted to marry her. She thought it was “love” and she slept with him.
He broke up with her 2 weeks later after winning his bet with his football buddies that he would bed her before graduation.
He not only broke her heart but ruined her reputation and she had a very difficult time in her relationships after that.
Yes, she made the deicision to lose her virginity but she did so thinking she was with someone who loved and cherished her.
In my opinion, it was a sick, twisted thing to do and I find men AND women that engage in such behavior to be equally as sick and twisted.
YMMV
I got roasted once in another thread about this subject but I find those santimonious “not-until-marriage” types to be exceedingly annoying. AFAIAC that football player was doing God’s work. More power to him.

Why is that considered santimonious? Why can someone not make a choice and try to stick by it if that is how they want to live their life? How does that possibly bother you?
If the young lady was preaching to everyone in her school about how bad they were for not waiting and trying to force her decision on anybody else I could see how it would be annoying. But if it just something she chose for herself, where do you get off saying she basically deserved that happening to her?
That’s disgusting, Dio. I’ve just lost any respect I’ve ever had for you.
Wow. Just, wow.
Look, they often annoy the hell out me, too. I have no time for the religious impetus behind such decisions, nor for the idea that sex is something only for married men and women to take part in. And i don’t like it when such people tell the rest of us that we’re evil sinners. But it is possible to adopt the “wait until marriage” position without being sanctimonious about it. Just like it’s possible to be a vegetarian or non-smoker without being a preachy asshole.
And even when people are sanctimonious, i really don’t think that this is sufficient reason to take great pains to work your way into the woman’s heart, finally persuade her that you love her and that if she loved you she’d sleep with you, and then dump her. This sort of gratuitous, selfish behaviour is far too damaging a “punishment” for a bit of sanctimony, IMO.
Yeah, people that won’t fuck you sure are a pain in the ass, aren’t they?
Marvelous deity you’ve got there. No wonder I don’t go to church.
Little more to the story I referenced earlier…
This young lady left high school and went to college. There she slept with many a guy who cared nothing about her. She had lost all her self respect because of this ONE incident. She left school after trying to kill herself and married the first guy that came along and asked her.
They had nothing in common and after a year they both realized it. They divorced. She moved out of state away from all her friends and family.
There she tried to kill herself again before finally coming to terms with why she hated herself so much. She got some help. Met a great guy and moved on with her life but it took almost 10 years for her to do it.
Now did she deserve all that just for making a choice when she was 16 that she wanted to wait until she got married to have sex?
That is one of the most fucked up things I’ve read on this board for a while.
Really.
That’s just fucking pathetic.

I really cannot believe you said that.
You are a miserable excuse for a human being.
My goodness, what’s with all the venom toward virgins? So they want to wait. Big fucking deal. It doesn’t make them bad people, any more than the decision to fuck everything with less than four legs makes someone else a bad person. The decision to have sex or not have sex is a personal one, and doesn’t affect anyone else (except one’s partner, I suppose). It’s like dyeing your hair or getting a Prince Albert–nobody else’s goddamned business.
As for DtC rather disgusting take on A28’s story, I fail entirely to see how deliberate deceit and cruelty is a good or even neutral thing. It’s a bastardly, assholish thing to do, and karma will eat that shitstain for dinner someday.
I apologize Bernse that your OP seems to have gotten lost in this. I just couldn’t believe the sentiment that was expressed by ** Diogenes ** and it completely floored me.
Maybe there is some backstory that makes him feel the way he does that I’m not privy to but to say that someone being that manipulative of another human being was “doing God’s work” is beyond sad to me.
Maybe his God would support it, but the God I believe in would not.
Damn it, I had a whole post just full of vitriol for DtC. It had “fuck” a lot in it.
Ah hell, you know what I was going to say.
Why? He’s just living up to his name and being a cynic

Why can’t she change her mind without being treated like a “fallen woman”?
