{\color{blue}\mathbf{GIANTS}} are looking terrible so far. Down 16-0 to Dallas.
Other than a bad injury, that’s about as bad a start to a season as I can imagine. (Giants)
I can’t find anything on the web about a uniform change, but the Cowboys pants look a little different than what I’m used to seeing. The color of their pants looks more like a baby blue than a light gray. Is that new, or am I seeing something that isn’t there?
Giants, woof!
Erm… go Jets?
No, the Cowboys “home” uniforms have pants that are a sort of blue-silver mix and pretty much always have. They wear a more standard gray color for the pants on their “road” uniforms (with the dark navy blue jerseys).
(I put “home” and “road” in quotes because the Cowboys frequently wear their home uniforms both at home and on the road, their using of a light colored home jersey being in defiance of the trend among nearly all other NFL teams).
Daboll might as well sit Daniel Jones the rest of the night. Don’t want the guy to get possibly get hurt in this debacle. He is running for his life out there.
This would assume they want him available to play next week. Given how things are going, maybe they’re trying to save the lower strings.
5 wins was way too generous.
That was seriously depressing. What a way to start the season.
And to the hated rivals of Dallas.
So the Browns did upgrade the D-line significantly, but the night and day difference in defensive performance seems more like a condemnation of Joe Woods, the old defensive coordinator, who everyone agreed was terrible. Schwartz seems to actually be scheming to the player’s strengths. It’s hard to say after one game but the Browns D may actually be very good this year.
I’m glad you were wrong. It was a great game (actually sloppy play at times by both teams), but got pretty terrifying at the end. Luckily there were plenty of fellow Eagles fans in the stands to celebrate with.
The Brady ceremony at halftime was a lot of fun too.
Oh man, I just watched the highlights (lowlights?) of that game and I cannot remember a more embarrassing opening week performance. Every NFL fan should watch the recap just to feel better about their team. Yikes!
On the plus side, the Giants have only one direction to go from here, because I literally do not think it could have gone any worse.
The only positive is they escaped injury at least.
That’s thanks to the new field they put in this year. The field looked pretty good to me; shout out to Daniel Jones for giving us a closer look at it by wearing it on his face.
The last time the Boys did this to the Giants in the season opener, it was a 35-0 victory at the beginning of Dallas’s last Super Bowl season.
It may be that the Cowboys are actually that good this season, even considering New York’s evident unreadiness.
This made me lol. I stopped watching before halftime. Brutal.
They are good, but are they good enough to overcome Dak Prescott’s proven track record of never being able to win the big game?
Damn, it’s good to be a Dolphin fan today.
We’ve got a quarterback with moxie! (You can’t have a good team without a quarterback with moxie). And a hall of fame wide receiver. And another guy who also runs over 20 mph.
It’s fun to watch, is what I’m saying.
Tua was awesome.
