Geno Smith was pretty emotional in that interview and he just thanked God a couple of times. I don’t know - do the Jets really want a religious quarterback? Seriously, I think I agree with McShay: this is not a great situation to come into as a young quarterback. If he’s going to be the starter early in the season it’s not a good thing.
