It’s rough, I like Eisen and hate ESPN…but can’t stomach Deion and McShay is better than Mayock. Lots of channel flipping in the Omni household.
I guess it’s time for the annual SenorBeef mid-draft wellness check, but I think he’s probably feeling a little relieved?
Fuck me… can we trade back?
…and the Colts have their heads in the right place. They still need D help, though. Looks like my prediction of three QB’s going before the Bears’ pick was wrong, though.
Uh, waitaminnit…maybe not…

What a bummer. Couldn’t have worked out worse for the Bears.
EDIT: Fuck, the Bucs got the bounty from the trade too. What a nightmare.
Good pick by Colts. Their O line sucks and Nelson is pretty darn good. If they can grab Raganow in the second, there could be a future for them.
Tampa trading back for two 2s is a strong, strong indicator that the rumors were true about them moving up from the 2nd to the 1st for Guice. Probably just ahead of 32
Will the Cardinals please trade up with the Bears? Please?
Ahhh, Bills.
Well, you got somebody you wanted, Omni.
Numbah 9…numbah 9…
See, hilarious. Well, he should be used to snow, at least.
What kind of world are we living in where the Browns’s front office is making more sense than the Bills’s?
I guess it’s time for the annual **Omniscient **mid-draft wellness check, but I think he’s probably feeling a little relieved?
I love Mayock’s comments about Allen. He’s strong armed, but needs to work on his accuracy and decision making.
Ummmm, aren’t accuracy and decision making kinda important to playing QB in the NFL?
And comparing Allen to Newton is mind boggling. You take away Newton’s running ability (which Allen isn’t even close to), and you have a sub-average NFL QB. Ahhhhhh. Think it’s time to put the mute button on.
No, not really. I hate these tweeners. Like the coverage skills but he looks like a part time player unless we significantly retool our scheme to add a Joker type role. He’s definitely worse case scenario, but at least they didn’t reach badly for someone.
I’ll be watching Edmunds career to see if we picked the right one.
The Niners love their Irish…
There is no WR worth the #8 pick, so grabbing a solid, possibly special linebacker makes perfect sense for the Bears. I only wish they traded up to grab him.
The 49ers reached, but I think he’s a decent player for them.
He’s supposed to be the best of a very poor class of OTs. A reach at 9, especially given what else was available but I guess I see it?
Replaces Trent Brown at RT? Doubt he’s taking Joe Staley’s job. Though Staley is, what, 33?
At 235…he’s not a linebacker. He’s something, but not a backer. I do trust Vic’s judgment though.
It’s going to be fun to see how Nelson deals with Watt, McKinney, and Clowney for two games next year.
