NFL Week 10

Well fuck. Mines down. Must be our local feed ot something.

Then it has to be a northside thing, I’m on the southside of the city…

A tie? What the fuck?

Man, you have to try really hard now in the modern era for one of those. You look at those standings in years “way back when” and there were plenty of ties in the team standings but the last one I can remember recently was Eagles and McNabb’s “I didn’t know that could happen” a few years ago.

Since both kickers missed game winners, and a variety of other miscues happened, I’m not sure “try hard” is the right term. :smack:

Andy Reid has done enough to deserve a graceful exit and to coach out his last season if he chooses.

I just don’t understand why he’d want to. He can’t be having any fun.

Prepare to be surprised!

crosses gingers, er…fingers.

Funny thing about that, Vick could have told McNabb about the tie rule. He played in a tie game vs. Pittsburgh in 2002.

Even though I’m a Texans fan, I’d like to see them hook up against the Bears again soon on a dry field and let 'em go at it. They were pretty evenly matched physically so let’s see what happens when wet balls and poor footing don’t come into play. Marshall and Foster would both benefit and we’ll let the rest fall out where they may. Hopefully that’ll happen in the playoffs this year.

Steelers are overwhelmingly favored for tonight. As I always say, that makes me nervous - also, it has been a weekend of upsets.

But I still suspect we’ll have another in the W column by the end of tonight. Still any given Sunday (or Monday night as it were) as the saying goes.

So Adrian Peterson has to be near the top of the list of greatest recoveries from sports injuries of all time, right?

I shouldn’t be surprised that the Giants lost to the Bengals. It’s been par for the course these past few years that Big Blue blows 4 or 5 of its final regular season games, squeaks its way into the playoffs, then marches right to the Super Bowl.

I think they’re exhausted. At least they finally have their well-deserved bye next week. And with Philly self-imploding, we can relax knowing the only threat left is the Cowgirls, who can’t seem to beat us on their best day. I may end up eating those words come the divisional, but we’ll see.

Didn’t they already beat you this year?

For those of you who don’t know who he is, DT Geno Atkins of the Cincinnati Bengals is quietly putting together another Pro Bowl season in this, his second year (he went to the Pro Bowl last season too). Dude is a beast…he has 8 sacks already so far.

What about Week 1? Giants started off the NFL 2012 season with a Wednesday night loss (Sept.5th) at home to the Cowboys on national TV, 24 - 17.

Georgia fans know who he is.

Okay, okay. Apparently I blocked that out of memory. Regardless, I don’t expect Dallas is good enough to knock us out of the division.

Agreed.

Hopefully the Bengals can do you and the Giants a favor by beating them here in Cincinnati in a few weeks.

Marvin Lewis loves taking players that played at Georgia.
