They wouldn’t have beaten Philly (with a backup QB, even) except for some fortuitous special teams and turnover help.
Yeah, and he’s got a good eye. If not for the fluke injury to Pollack and the bizarre behavior of Thurman, he’d be a genius in that regard.
Imagining what the Bengals defense would be like right now with those two players in what would be the prime of their careers right now makes me a sad panda. And we wouldn’t have drafted Rey Maualuga, which also would have been a plus.
The Chiefs have a lead! The Chiefs have a lead!!!
Did I hear that right? This is KCs ONLY lead of the year? And now Pit curses an official, I’ve never even heard if that. And fumbles? Bwhaaaa! Fucking hilarious.
Eta: Score. If KC doesn’t perform another game this year, they’ll still look back fondly on this one.
So after this what’s on next on the Oprah Winfrey Network?
I wish Jamal Charles had a better team around him.
Go chefs!
These guys are killing me! Where the heck is the D?
Sure, the Steelers tied it up, but KC is driving again.
10-10 at the half. Ouch!
And now Rapistberger is hurt and so is Ike Taylor and the Chiefs are running the ball like Greek Gods.
As much as the Steelers are sucking, they’re getting a pretty good blowjob from the officials in return.
Wow I thought the Chiefs might actually steal this one. Guess not.
Great googily moogily. What a way to end the game.
I do not think the Steelers will be bragging about this one. Winning a squeaker in OT against a 1-7 team is not exactly an achievement.
The Chiefs should have won this game. Matt Cassel blows.
Cassel isn’t the problem. He led the Pats to a 10-6 season.
I didn’t watch the Saint Louis-San Francisco game. What was the deal about the missing time they mentioned on tonight’s game?
He did have a very impressive game. He handled himself really well for a backup put in in mid-game. It wasn’t just handling the regular stuff but he also reacted well in some pressure situations.
The clock was turned on while the officials were measuring for a first down and ran out about a minute before being stopped again. It happened early in the second quarter and while a screw up by the officials and the timekeeper, I don’t think it had a big impact on the game. It certainly wasn’t the cause of the tie.
