Huge stop there. go Skins!
Not sure if that was nationally televised or just local, and I’m not a pro wrestling fan, but that was a great commercial.
“Have you been injured by a ladder, table, or chair…”
Ow. That looked nasty. Locklear’s out.
Horse collar tackle my ass!
Agreed, but I guess we’re not gonna see the replay.
Whew. Rekick.
Guess not.
Well nice D on that series. Let’s see if RG3 can grind out a drive.
I admire the balls of that call.
Huge 1st down. Another one wins it.
There it is. Game over.
Wasn’t a very pretty game, but I’ll take it.
Goodnight folks!
SWEET!!!
I’ll be at the Ravens game next week, and can’t wait to feel the excitement.
Oh man, I work Sundays so I don’t get to see a lot of skins games. This was a good one to watch.
Man, if the skins could pull together any kind of pass rush they would be a real team in contention for years with rg3.
I got annoyed at the mid-day coverage I saw yesterday. They were talking about the all the various games that had been played and I kept waiting for them to talk about the Buffalo-Jacksonville game.
Finally, they mentioned it. And that’s all they did. “Buffalo won a game today. I guess there’s nothing else to say.”
Really? I realize Buffalo is a mid-level team but it’s still at least theoretically in the playoff picture. How is it they have all that time to talk about the Eagles and the Lions and the Cougars but no time to talk about the Bills?
Hell, the Bills have the same record the Saints have right now but you’d never know it to hear them talk.
Hearing vague rumblings that Rashard Mendenhall won’t be re-signed by the Steelers. That’s worrying, since I am relying on him as a fantasy keeper prospect.
He won’t be. They just demoted him to 3rd in the lineup last week and he’s coming off a torn ACL at the end of last season. They might give him an offer, but as an unrestricted free agent he’ll laugh at it. He simply has no value to the Steelers anymore, certainly not for the big money he’s going to want.
I can’t imagine that anyone is going to give him big money. He’s never been very good.
The solution is for them to move to the NFC East.
He’s got a couple of 1300 yard seasons under his belt running behind a weak line. He should get at least what BJGE got.
I don’t get to watch complete games of the Redskins either, so this was a first. And I like a lot of what I’ve seen from RGIII. But watching the entire game, I was a bit surprised by just how little of “traditional quarterbacking” RGIII was asked to do. He doesn’t attempt many passes at all (he’s currently 23rd in attempts behind Tannehill, Sanchez, and others) and the offense is clearly tailored to fit his college game. Those aren’t necessarily bad things (I’m not sure they’re the recipe for long term success), and RGIII looks like the real deal doing them, but I wasn’t aware just how much the offense was tailored to him and his skill running the football. It will be interesting to see how it all works out.
