Not a Giants fan but they’re coming back and I’d love to see some team knock the smirk off of Cam and his dumb ass dancing and gloating
Who could hate Cam Newton?
ODB Jr is lucky he wasn’t ejected from the game earlier.
Asked and answered.
Yeah, how dare that guy have fun playing a game for a living?
340 yards passing, 5 TDs and 100 yards rushing.
I swear the Cardiac Cats do this to me on purpose! I thought for sure we were going to tie the biggest come from behind loss in regular season :(.
Word. He just beat my team and I still can’t think of a valid reason to dislike him. If he played WR, he’d be… well, I guess he’d be Odell Beckham, so there you are If the Giants can’t win this year, I want the Panthers to go 16-0 and win the Super Bowl, with Newton getting the MVP, just to stick it to everybody who hates him irrationally.
What are the reasons for hating him? I mean, maybe he raped a puppy and I forgot about it, but he just seems like a good dude who loves playing the game and has improved an impressive amount every year who’s a unique talent that’s a ton of fun to watch.
Watching Mariota get knocked out of the game today, I have to wonder if getting picked late isn’t an advantage for your pro career, because no matter how good you are, you can’t play with a crap OL and crap receivers, and a lot of teams with the first or second pick have that. Cam Newton is a mutant, but look at all the great prospects like RGIII who get beat up so badly their rookie year that they never fulfill their potential.
And I’m afraid Mariota is going to join that list.
Yeah, I just rewatched the Beckham Jr thing at halftime. He should’ve been ejected for that helmet to helmet shot, no doubt. They apparently justified it by calling offsetting penalties, but I can’t blame the other guy for knocking him down when the dude just fucking headhunted him.
Wtf just happened in the Denver-Pittsburgh game? Isn’t that punt a dead ball once the Steelers touch it? Or do they actually have posession?
What a weird sequence of events.
Skins look to be in position to win the NFC east
The weird NFL moment of the day was Odell Beckham over celebrating when the Giants scored and tied the game at 35. But he forgot that Cam Newton had 1:45 to get his team in FG range.
Well, the Texans won in Indy for the first time ever, meaning my Colts are now one game down on them in the division, and no longer in control of our own destiny.
Aside from the Colts, I’m pulling for the Panthers to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.
I think it will too much pressure on them to win the SB now since they will go into the playoffs undefeated
If the Steelers were punting, and a Steelers player touched it before a Broncos player did, then the ball is still alive (unless it rolled to a stop or a Steelers player picked it up), and the Broncos effectively have a free chance to return the ball; at the end of the play, the Broncos could choose to take the ball where the Steelers touched it, or accept the final result of the play.
There appears to be one exception to this; if the Steelers touch first, then the Broncos gain possession, fumble, the Steelers regain possession, and there was a penalty against the Broncos either before recovering the kick or after the Steelers recovered the Broncos’ fumble, then the Steelers would get the ball.
His team beat my team after he thew the winning TD late in the 4[sup]th[/sup]. Therefore I am obligated to hate him (even though he has lost repeatedly to my team, never got past my team in the playoffs, and threw a nice pick-6 in the playoffs to the guy on my team who has nearly the same first name).
Though, I would not be angry to see him earn a SB win, because he seems like an OK kind of guy.
Is Cam the one who tore down a Packers supporters banner before a game this year?

The poetic thing would be a Pats-Panthers Super Bowl with the Patriots trying to stop Carolina from going 19-0.
I think seattle or arizona can beat the Panthers in the playoffs, Panthers will have too much pressure on them
