Josh McCown is your Browns franchise single game record holder for passing yards with 457. And this with almost undoubtedly the worst receiving group in the league.

I hate how the NFL pretends that regular season and playoffs are totally separate. It’s fine to say “___ is a playoff record!”, but when you say “___ is an all-time franchise record”, you assume that means every game that franchise has played. But it doesn’t. Bernie Kosar threw for more yards in a playoff game but apparently that doesn’t count for the franchise record, just the franchise playoff record.

Still, hey. Josh McCown. Who’d have thought he’d be throwing 450 yard games and we’d still be barely pulling them out because our defense is complete garbage?

And because all those yards usually just lead to short field goals. Seriously this team has trouble putting it in the end zone.
