The perpetually late new thread
There’s talk of Gruden wanting to blow up the Raiders, but should he be given the chance? It was thought that the Raiders were a competitive team coming into this season. The whole idea behind hiring Gruden was that he might take the Raiders to the next level. I don’t think anyone thought that the Raiders needed to be burnt to the ground and rebuilt. And yet that’s what Gruden wants to do (to cover his ass).
I admit: I was excited. I was among those who thought Chucky would be a good hire. Not that I expected Super Bowls, but I expected competitive football. Now it’s looking like a complete disaster hire. Almost as bad as George Siefert with the Panthers.
