as a raiders fan, this pleases me although I do hope no one is seriously/permanently injured … also as a raiders fan it will greatly please me to see KC get its ass handed to it by the clowns erm browns … wish I could of made a bet …
Packers finally get a decent drive going but then a red zone interception.
Luckily PBS has a history of London show.

The Packers defense looked terrible in the first half against the Saints, letting Winston and Kamara move the ball at will. Rodgers didn’t do much in the first half, until the drive that yielded a field goal as the half ran out. And, then, as @N9IWP noted, he threw a rare interception in the red zone.
Not an auspicious start, though, at this rate, the entire NFC North could well be at 0-1 by the end of the day.
Well it didn’t take long for the latest 2nd coming of Nfl offense to fall back to earth
you know i remember someone asking way back when the nfl decided to realign what would happen if a whole division was under 500 and the response was “that could never happen” and others used that possible occurance as a reason to oppose the idea …
And, Rodgers throws another interception on a bomb. Time to switch over to Smithsonian for Mighty Trains.
damn maybe hell get traded like he wanted to eh ?
I think he’s decided he really, really, wants to be full time host of Jeopardy!, so he’s trying to free up time on his schedule.
It’s happened at least three times in the past 11 years:
- 2010 NFC West (Seattle won the division at 7-9)
- 2014 NFC South (Carolina won at 7-8-1)
- 2020 NFC East (Washington won at 7-9)
I wonder if the Saints are this good, or are the Packers this bad?
The Browns just had an entire drive of runs, like 8 in a row, ending in a TD. You almost never see that outside of the last few minutes of the 4th quarter. Just domination at the line of scrimmage.
Is Aaron Rodgers going to retire before the game is over?
No matter what happens, the Bears will finish week 1 in first place.
Oh Browns…
id love it if they manage to pull this off … but of course they wont tho …
I’m okay with that. Opening at KC is one of the hardest challenges you can get and they almost made it. It was a good game.
The Browns also learn from their mistakes. They lost to Pittsburgh last year but won when it mattered. If they can stay injury-free, they’ll be fine. They’ll probably win their division for starters.
Rodgers is just showing his ass.
I don’t care that they lost, the Browns were awesome (and should be this year).
The Brown’s made the third classic blunder - being ahead of the Chiefs by less then two scores in the fourth quarter.
And also, although I realize that Chubb can’t carry the ball every play, it was probably what they needed to do - the Chief’s defense sucks and the run defense in particular has an attraction to donkey balls.
