Ditto that. The clickfest to try and interact with things (especially the damn cupboard doors and drawers) is getting tedious.
Oh. Has anyone completed this game on a Mac?
Vision was a kinda fun game. Took me a few hours to solve, but a lot of it reminded me of old text adventures. The odd little bit of non-obvious clicking to search (oh, hey, you can look to one side of a desk, but not the other, and there’s no real clue to the searchability thereof) is a bit of bad design, but for the most part it was pretty well thought out.
The stickman puzzle serves as a nice example that graphics do have a place in adventures (yeah, in my circles this is still debated): there’s no decent way a device like that could be done in text.
I have the piece of paper that says “newsense” and I assume that the letters in this correspond with north, south, east, and west. I tried clicking on the arrows around the painting with the sea stuff in the order of the letters, but no luck.
Help?
Nevermind, I found someplace else to use it.
I’ve tried several of the Gotmail games, and frankly I’m rather unimpressed. The graphics are nice, but they never seem to make any sense, and I can never get anywhere. I’m not that good at this type of game to begin with, but these are just frustrating in the extreme.
Yes. No problems here using Safari.
However, I am now stuck again. I have the following:
screwdriver handle, weird white thing with pegs, crank handle, headless doll, bronze box, and green marble. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the screwdriver off of the clock, or where else to go from here.
Have you examined the green marble in the bronze box?
Thanks. I guess I just don’t get it.
Alright, in Strawberry Tomato: I unlocked the painting, but it won’t do anything. I click on it and it makes a noise, but nothing happens. I even restarted the game, and same problem. Do I need to update my flash player or something, or is that supposed to happen? Also, were you able to get the t-shirt before or after you unlocked the painting? I can’t seem to get either hanging shirt no matter where I click. There is one drawer in the cupboard I’ve never been able to open, too.
Click and drag the painting down. It scrolls. Also, you can get the shirt before the painting, just use an item on the tall cabinets to the left of the desserts. And yes, it won’t make sense. A lot in Strawberry Tomato doesn’t make sense.
Thanks!
Now I just have to find the triangle…I’ve already got the circle and the square.
Ok, I realized that I don’t see somethings until the right time in the game [that’s a bit annoying].
I have
two pieces of the wall safe; there seems to be a third that I can’t pick up yet. Is that right?
I thought I’d figured out how to open the fish box…I
Turned the fish in the direction shown on the desert marble and pressed buttons to correspond with the sea stuff in the box, based on the painting
What am I missing?
Nevermind, I’m an idiot.
And now I get to figure out where the heck this key goes…
Alright, I’m done with Strawberry Tomato and am going to pass on its sequel, Bon Voyage. After getting stumped every time I figured out a new clue, I finally resorted to a walkthrough I found online. And I’m glad I did. The puzzles made less and less sense, there were annoying waiting games that took too long, things to do/discover that couldn’t be done until triggered, for no obvious reason, etc. Pretty, but terribly done. I guess Vision spoiled me.
Can you all tell that I really am trying to avoid work?
Anyway, I got outside, but I seem to be well and truly stuck.
I already replaced the gear with the old rusty gear. I currently have 4 marbles (blue, yellow, turquoise, and green), the bronze box, the original gear, and the sketchbook. Help?
Is there someplace you’ve seen before you went outside where a gear would be a good fit?
There is indeed- but the gear for some reason will not go on between the other 2 gears. I’d already tried.
