Are you finding it difficult to hit a moving target?

Perhaps if it were standing still…
OK… I feel like an idiot
I have the screwdriver handle, (I know where the other 1/2 is, haven’t gotten it yet), a little headless dummy, the steel box with the green marble inside. The wierd grey thingy with the buttons and the crank. Looking at the marblke it is telling me key=triangle plus square times circle. My math is correct (I’ve verified this over and over again… and yet the only place I can think of to input that code does nothing (The little code dealy in the cabinet under the metal frog I need to unscrew. ) Scratching head
Oh… and by the way… thank you thank you for the Mysteries of Time and Space. I found it once a long time ago… and didn’t finish. Then I could never find the game again!!!
This is one of my favorite genre of games.
Check your math–specifically, your order of operations.
Ahhh… son of a…
OK, found the:
wierd silver semi circle thingamabobber and venus fly trap!? more figuring out to come. The silly thing is I considered this, and then rejected the idea. I should learn, no idea is too dumb on these games.
Ok so:
I’m in the room with the red ball in the center of the puzzle with four other balls. I rearranged the tiles to make a snake, a stick man kneeling on one knee, sea horse, and snail. But now I’m stuck. I can’t take the red ball out to put it in the brass box. And can’t figure out if there is some way to figure out where to place the other balls.
Or am I going about this wrong. Just a hint please.
Oh and I went back and tried it with the macbook again and I still couldn’t use the first key. I went into the inventory, I could examine it, but I couldn’t use it. Maybe it’s because I have leopard or maybe because I’m using opera instead of safari.
Those other marbles don’t just contain game hints, y’know. Enjoy the pretty art as well.
DOH! :smack: And I even went back and looked at all of them before I posted. Good thing I handed in my ‘smart’ card in the smart kids masturbation thread in the pit.
Thanks all, this was fun.
OK, I’ve stared at that marble til I’m blue and all I see are abstract swirly patterns. This is the green marble you get in your inventory when you open the box with the 4 buttons (north-south-east-west) on the cover? I just don’t see how it’s telling me how to manipulate those three 2-digit numbers to get the answer for the combination lock.
Is there anything you could maybe use the marble with? Perhaps something with a little magnifying lens?
Well first, I got the origin of the marble I was talking about wrong, it’s the one that appeared in the wineglass. But no, I don’t seem to have anything in my inv that it can operate with. Aside from it I only have the screwdriver handle, headless doll, doll head/key, crank, and the grey thing with the 5 buttons on one side and one reset button on the end. None of these objects seem to operate with each other.
If I remember correctly, most keys can be used as soon as you find them. Anything that might resemble a keyhole you haven’t tried? Perhaps the doll’s head itself resembles something else you’ve seen somewhere.
Good grief that was hard. Thanks for the link.
I suck so hardcore at these games.
I can’t find the fucking triangle. I assume it’s on/near one of the plants? I swear I’ve clicked every pixel of every plant and pot, and nothing, nada.
You’re looking in the wrong places. Just have a good look around the room, walls, corners, etc.
Two of the numbers are in the same view of the room, just on opposite corners.
Hint please.
I’ve got the combination, and found the flytrap and metal thing. Now what do I do? I can’t find anything that works.
Yes, I’ve looked at the bottom of the flytrap, and entered that pattern on the clock, except for the arrow pointing at 3. What is that? I cant move the hand (screwdriver). It doesn’t do anything. What else should I do?
Yeah, I’m at the same spot.
Check out this post. I was stuck in the same place and after reading this a couple of times had a :smack: moment.
If I remember correctly, the position of the screwdriver is related to the arrow in the map. Rotate the pattern appropriately. If it doesn’t work, try inverting the sequence (i.e., where you pressed the buttons last time, leave those up and press down the ones you had up the first go around).
