Back to Oreos, those BTS ones do sound really good and I see my local Target carries them. May pick up a pack next time I’m there.
This reminds me of a couple of jobs ago, where one of the staffers was, like, married to someone who worked at Nabisco or something. Every now and then, I would walk into the office and discover that the snack table was filled with a whole bunch of weird, limited-run flavors of Triscuits and other various products. Some rather questionable flavors were there, to be sure. Definitely some genuine head-scratchers. But my love of free food almost always convinced me to at least investigate.what was on offer.
The weirdest Oreos I’ve eaten are the Marvel “Doctor Doom” ones, which have black filling and are supposed to turn your tongue some color (can’t remember if it’s green, blue, or purple, because they don’t work). The filling is really tasty, though, so we’ve been buying them and will probably continue to do so until they disappear off the shelves. They’re dwindling now, and I think we might be the only customers at our store who are still buying them.
I’m waiting for the new Monstrous Mega-Stuff Oreos with the traditional filling multiplied by a factor of at least 20, so that only 4 cookies will fit into a package.
If those are a Halloween item, which is what they sound like, maybe they will be back in the stores soon. Halloween stuff is already up in the local grocery store around here.
I was always a Sunshine Hydrox fan and never really liked Oreos. I wouldn’t waste calories on them. But I bought the Selena Gomez Horchata (?) ones which were actually quite nice. Not mind-blowing, but edible. None of the new flavors sound worth me getting them.
There also used to be a sandwich cookie called Cup Custard, and I loved those. I think the cream had brown sugar or maybe browned butter. They were awesome. Of course, they’re long gone.
Still waiting for the mix n match Oreos where you can buy the filler (basic or additionally flavored) and sleeves of cookies (chocolate flavored or otherwise) separately and create your own Frankencookies.

I don’t think they’re a Halloween item. I think they got released right around the time they first announced Avengers: Doomsday. I expect they’ll be back around November/December when they really start hyping the movie. So far, though, they still have a few packs at my store. We don’t eat them very fast, so they last a while.
I haven’t tried any of those. I’ve had different variants in the past: birthday cake, peanut butter, mint. I don’t particularly care for chicken and waffles. It’s fine, but I don’t think there’s any synergy. The other 3 sound good though and I’d happily have some if I see them in the store. Not excited enough to hunt for them though.
Most of these sound good, but some of them just aren’t Oreos. Like, there’s no such thing as a lemon Oreo. It’s just a lemon sandwich cookie that happens to be made by Nabisco.

The grocery stores here are carrying Oreo Brownie Bites in the bakery section (like mini brownies, but with Oreos mashed in). They’re somewhat less than the sum of their parts. The consensus here is not chocolatey enough or Oreo-y enough. Not bad, but just makes us want brownies and Oreos.
I liked them better than the lemon Milano cookies.
