Coconut Delight OREO Fudge Creams . . .

Seriously not as good as they sounded. A profound disappointment.
:frowning:

Didn’t know these even existed. Now I’m disappointed I didn’t even get to enjoy the anticipation.

Thanks for trying them so we don’t have to.

I totally would have fallen for that too.

I miss Ben & Jerry’s Coconut Almond Fudge Chip. Yum, yum. Perhaps I should add my voice to the resurrection requests:

About ten years ago, I got hooked on Coffee Cream Oreos – just before they were discontinued. I’ve never been sure whether I should be upset or grateful. But I still look for them every time I go to the supermarket, hoping they’ll make a comeback.

Oreo Fudge Creams… just like that sounds fine. Maybe if they left out the coconut.

Damn! Cause it sure sounds most nummy! I think I gained five pounds just reading the threat title!

I was looking at those cookies for five minutes, last trip to the store.Glad you saved me the bother of trying them. I bought the birthday cake ones instead. Next sale it’s back to doublestuff

I have a friend who makes his own - he peels the oreos apart, scrapes the goo off into a bowl, adds some instant coffee and i think some non dairy creamer, mixes it all together and refrosts the cookies and puts them back together.

Way too much work for me. Rip them apart, eat the plain cookie first and stockpile the frosted sides and eat them last.

Those were the best. I too found them shortly before they were discontinued.

You have just opened a whole new world to me. I’ve also thought of, but not tried, chopping them up and eating them in milk like cereal. Saves the trouble of dunking…?

It’s easier to just dunk them in a cup of coffee.

Seriously, they were awful. The “coconut” was this fake, cloying, alkaline flavor added to the cream. It didn’t even taste like -fake- coconut. It just tasted like too much saccharine had been added to the cream.

OMG that was wonderful.

First it was the Birthday Cake Oreos. Then the Candy Corn Oreos (only in October, and only at Target). Now I see they’ve got Lemon Oreos. At some point I’m going to have to choose between Oreos and my bikini.

OP is right, though. Avoid any kind of Oreo that’s chocolate-enrobed – by that I mean, same structure as a Girl Scout Thin Mint. For a higher price, you get less of a product that’s inferior to begin with.

I recently found these on Amazon and they got delivered today. Yes, they actually contain real coconut bits; almost like eating German chocolate cake in Oreo cookie form.
