Anyway, the 21st works for me. I’m free for any of the dates I listed. We wouldnt want oldie to miss bastile day would we? hmmm… Hopefully it doesnt seem all about him, but we do want the most amount of people there that we can, dont we?
Foreign dopers: What better time of the year to come visit us Californians? I mean, we’re tying to get most of the dopers in the state to come on down, and we’ve got a few from out of state coming too. Besides, that stretch of coast is absolutely fabulous!

Yep yep, count me in! I’m theoretically moving out to Cali right after Christmas. If oldscratch and I don’t kill each other on the cross country journey (heehee kidding) we’ll be there!
Well, the 21st is the day after my birthday, so i’ll be expecting presents from everyone. 
Count me in, wherever.
I just checked at the Madonna and they said they have two big 3 bedroom suites available for Friday and Saturday 7/20 and 7/21. Harvard Square sleeps 7, Pick and Shovel sleeps 9, and they go for $310 each per night. They also have several rooms with 2 queen beds for $100-$150/night. They also said that although there is nothing ‘official’ happening in town that weekend, they are definitely more booked up than they are for the 14th, so if we want 'em we should book soon.

Yes Doob and I are still coordinating this. Not much to do now, I suppose, since it isn’t for a very long time.
But, the tentative date seems to be the weekend of July 20th. That works well for me.
There is still plenty of time until then, so we can continue to plan and figure out stuff to do. Again, if you want in on the email list send an email over to me or Doob.

Pat and I will probably head down to SLO some weekend soon to check out various restaurants and stuff for the bash. I might have a job soon, and i told pat until I get more money, the trip to SLO will have to wait (so I can afford gas money down there, being it’s about 2 hrs away).
