Left Coasters unite! Did you people happen to see the notes for the NYC DopeFest? If my count is correct, they had forty-three people in attendance! Well, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I consider it a matter of honor that we beat that number this summer. Granted, they had some outside help, but I think we may be getting some as well. So, I ask you, for me, for yourselves, but mostly for the honor of the Pacific Coast, let’s make this the biggest DopeFest ever held!

Like I’ve said earlier, pretty much any time during the summer should be pretty good for me. Now that I have potential rides up there, all I need to do now is save a wad of cash…shouldn’t be too hard, I’ve got six months to do it.
I’ve noticed a pretty large crowd response to this…something like 35-40. Unless I’m a really bad estimator.

Since we have 6 months, I think we can get our number up to at least 50, so we can whoop the asses of the NYC contingent (this really isnt a competition, more of an excuse for me to keep bumping). Even if 20 showed, i’d be quite happy that it actually got off the ground and went smoothly.

For those who are interested, it looks like the LA-area Dopefest will be taking place on February 24. And at some point I’ll have to plan a San Diego Dopefest.

Well, I’m still kind of on the list a little. I’m going to be getting a real job with a real schedule and real days off and stuff. I could try to request a few days off right away when I get hired, or I could see if I could possibly build up enough PTO between the day that I get hired and the day I have to leave MN. I’m not sure yet though.
