I am going to call Madonna Inn this week to see what kind of group rates they have, if any. I hope I am not too late.

I’m still excited about this dopefest. I’m going to request that weekend off from work, start saving my nickles and dimes, and I’m going to drag along Bryan (possibly our most famous non-poster).
We’re all in agreement that we’re gonna do this on the weekend of July 20th, right? (I just want to make sure, before I go off making reservations and all that stuff)
WHAT? If I fly all the way out there, SPOOFE, you’d better show up.

I called the Madonna Inn this morning. The person I talked to said they had around 15 rooms available for that weekend. These rooms have 2 beds, but they cost 180 dollars a night. That isn’t bad if 4 people stay in them and split the fee.
I guess we should come to a decision on whether or not many of us want to stay there, I think it would be fun. It is a kitschy little place - definite tourist trap. I have never stayed in any of the rooms, but the restaraunt and bathrooms are trippy, and I think staying in one of the rooms would be a fun experience.

Let’s make a decision in the next couple of days on whether or not to stay here. If it is a no-go, I will start looking into other hotels in the area.
I guess there is also the factor of some people staying here, and others staying at a different hotel, but that would be hectic with everyone moving around from one place to the other.

Hey everyone, Pat and I would really like to know who is interested in getting a group rate at the Madonna Inn. The Inn is just south of SLO, and right off highway 101, so it’s not like it’s out in the boonies somewhere where a serial killer could kill us like in the Friday the 13th movies! But, i digress. Please people let us know who is interested to see if it’s even worth making the reservations (we really should know ASAP).
I’ll gladly stay at the Madonna Inn. I know some of the rooms are suites; Bryan & I will gladly share a suite with a few others. Besides, I think it’ll make a good ground zero for the weekend, since they do have a restaurant and lounge.
