Not-Jack Names for a One-eyed puppy..?

I like Peeper! But I always have to get approval from the other half. He’s more conservative than I.

Today we’ve played around with non-eye related names: ** Elmo, Calvin and Homer. ** I’m pretty partial to Homer. We’re also toying with:

** Amos
Dumpling
Gomer
Jethro
Malcolm
Maynard
Rhett
Rupert
Otis
Oliver **

I woke up this morning with the name ** Otis ** in my head. This is hard. A name that is cute on a puppy isn’t necessarily great on a grown dog, and a great name for a grown dog sometimes seems a little silly on a puppy.

And of course…who is he? I still don’t know. Except he’s cute as hell!

yeah, Cyclops. He has both eyes!!!

The name William just popped into my head. He seems like a William to me.

Moshe? [like Moshe Dayan]

Bowie? [as David Bowie]

I loved ** doig **

Snake
Plissken
Tuco
Rooster
Lefty
Errol
Flynn (tangents to the pirate theme)
Dale
Chihully
Rochefort

Actually he looks like an Alex to me. What a sweet face.

We have a one-eyed cat named Clarence. He was named that way at the sheklter, I suspect by a refugee from the 1960s who remember Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion. So we have Clarence the One-Eyed Cat.
If you don’t like Clarence ('cause you’ve got a dog) and you prefer the 1950s, you could go with Flying Purple People Eater. Especially if, like the Grinch, you “tie a big Horn to the top of his head.”

He looks like a Calvin.

I think Homer (the poet) WAS blind. . .

Too too too cute. What a sweetie. Someone kicked that precious baby in the head?
Well my suggestions don’t have anything to do with having one eye, I just like them. I’ve always thought Jake was a cute name for a male dog. I also like Duke even though it’s completely unoriginal.

Its not nice to give him a one eyed name…it would hurt his feelings and think about what the hot bytches wud think of it!..name him Necris to make him cool with the chickas!..okay okay…how about Terry? he looked like a Terry to me.

I don’t know, I think you oughta go with something like ‘Max’, ‘Spike’ or ‘Iggy’

On the other hand, I’ve never been very good at naming things. My last goldfish was called Ichabod.

I like Max and Homer, but I think I need more pictures to really be able to reach any kind of a decision.
