It’s possible that we’ve passed each other whilst promenading Seventh Avenue. I don’t hang around in bars so much since becoming a parent (nine years ago); I do most of my drinking at home, grinding my teeth and staring bitterly into space.

There is one problem with me in general, though, for the night of the 15th. I will have to go to a good friend’s birthday party later that evening, and will only be able to stay with the dopers for an hour or so.
However, Tuba and Surgo, if you guys need a place to stay, I’ll gladly give you keys to my apartment. Our last guest stole spare keys and robbed us and now there’s nothing left to steal! Don’t worry, we changed the locks.
I am trying to think of a clever ruse so that I can bump this to the top without looking like I am just posting to this thread in order to bump it.
