I think Octopus’s logic system works like this:
- Nothing’s changed since the 60’s, when liberals equated with Communism, and they were responsible for all the riots and subversion in the US.
- Whenever some new anti-establishment movement occurs such as BLM and there’s rioting, it’s because of 1).
- Whenever there’s any violence across the globe, it’s because of 1).
- If conservatives are actually responsible for the violence, we have to ignore it, because we can’t be one-sided in our discussions and devolve into a dreaded hive mind.
