Off!- A vacation MMP

bleh went to the doc for the first time in 2 years …….got a few riot acts read to me ……since when is 240 morbidly obese ?

cant eat or drink after 11 ……… for tests tomorrow …… I now remember why I didn’t go back in the first place ……

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out and clear (dark) with a predicted high of 90 and a forty percent chance or rain/tstorms/apocalypse this afternoon. We shall see. A storm came through around nine last night with some big lightnin’ and thunder. Today’s agenda consists of grindin’ up pork and chikin for tomorrow’s makeage of Brunswick stew, makin’ sup, and mowage over to the church house late this afternoon with miscellaneous stuff thrown in for good measure. Enough to keep me off the streets I reckon.

Sunny here is an explanation of what a Vestry does.

So, has anyone heard if Philadelphia survived last night?

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, onward into the day! Rah.

Happy Firday Y’all!

I thought a vestry was responsible for making vests for all congregants…??

TGIF!! That is all!

Up. Caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to tour Philly.

Well, **ruble ** owns artillery, so they could be an Earth shattering kaboom.

A good time was had by all, and th small town of Conshohocken can get on with the task of rebuilding.

Plus we had Puppy Fight Club at the brewpub.

P.S. congrats on the appointment, **swampy **

Exciting day at case de wetone. The carpets are getting professionally cleaned.

The space-time continuum would be fine; however, as already stated, Ruble owns artillery so I’m pretty sure Flytrap might not survive. Possibly something involving human cannonballs.

He’s blonde, she’s black; siblings. Haven’t seen each other since they were weeks old, which was not even two months ago!

Happy Firday!

Going to be another hot one, but cloudy all day.

I’m tired, woke too early and stayed up.

I see a nap later today, and the front postage stamp needs mowing.
I have to finish the paperirk I didn’t finish yesterday.
Paperirk hurts my brain.

Morning all and happy Firday. Woke up to rain, the ‘good’ rain, where it’s not pouring down, just a good ‘soak into the ground’ steady rain with no thunder accompanying it. Looks like it’ll last a couple hours more, so no watering my lawn for a week–Yeah!

Don’t know if the remodel folks are back today or not, they indicated they needed to let the plaster (?) sit for a bit. Tiling may begin next week, so things are moving along.

Didn’t mention one unexpected hazards of coaching last night; the fields are next to a couple of ponds that are used by a gaggle of geese that has been increasing every year. They’ve been feeding on the field recently and I’ve discovered, in my old age, that Geese poop–in great quantities. So avoiding their deposits and keeping the girls away from them was a prime concern last night. Hopefully the rain will help return their offerings to the ground.

wet one, are you having to move the furniture or does the cleaning service do it?

doggio, I thought the first rule of Puppy Fight Club is that you don’t talk about Puppy Fight Club?

Still getting used to this Avatar thing…

The cleaning guys will move the furniture but I took everything off the tables, etc. Ursala Kitteh is very wary of things that have moved. I’m not having the bedrooms done so my hope is that she and I spend the time in the second bedroom. I am now watching a movie starring Liberace. Did you know he had teh gay???

Nice morning rain going on out here between Ryland and Maysville, a rain that could go on for hours and hours, or stop in the next microsecond. Not that I care, as I’m hitting the recliner very soon and may not get up for seven or eight hours (depending on bladder, etc.).

Got the consolidated Monthly Status Report finished for my task order cohort last night, submitted it, and expect it will be accepted without question. That’s two whole hours of billable time for August; maybe there’ll be more hours to charge later.

Peace and grace to all!

Congrats, Swampy! Serve the congregation well.

The game went well last night with Juliet Jr. The weather stayed warm and clear, and she’s learning more and more about football. She’s learned what “downs” are and loves doing the “First Down” hand signal. She’s gotten much better about understanding “offence” and “defense” and is really turning into a true Packer fan!

Tomorrow we’re taking the kiddos to the Milwaukee County Zoo along with my brother, his wife, and their two kids. They have a DVD player in their minivan, so we’re going to throw all the kids in their van and all the strollers/coolers in my vehicle.

I guess we’ve realized that the summer’s almost done.

Reports Mom to CPS. :o

Hey!

: glues **flytrap ** to **spidey ** :

I’m not sure but this was the morning paper nearby.

Not really but it could have happened. Actually it looked more like this

Like after Sherman visited Atlanta?

Flying Flytrap!!! I can just see the promotional banners now! And practicing frugality as I have learned it in Da Jungle we don’t have to spring the shekels for a net!

10 minutes ago when I started the last post it was sunny and bright. By the time I finished the post it was raining buckets. Now its already back to a drizzle. Ya just gotta love the weather we’ve had this summer.

Lunch break!! I worked 15 minutes past my usual lunch time. How professional is that?!?!?

I’m working from some old drawings - old, as in hand-drawn! Unfortunately, they’re PDFs of really huge papers so I can’t print them and have anything useable. Kinda hard to check things off an electronic copy. But I’m getting it all done, so go me!

So ready for the day to be over…

Noooooooooooooo!!!

Hey, I resent that!
That wasn’t caused by some drunken rowdies; that was caused by the mayor instructing the police helicopter to drop a bomb.
(Seriously!)

Thank You. I love yours too.

I got paid today and have already spent most of it on bills. I did order a set of four security cameras for my house so I can keep check on my pets during the day. They will arrive on Moanday and I hope they are not too hard to set up.

Happy Firday. I have to irk a half day tomorrow and then I am off until Moanday week. I will have to come in on Firday to sign off on my employees payroll cause I can’t make the stupid site work on my personal laptop. I could have my boss do it but he usually screws something up. We shall see. I don’t have any plans for my staycation. I may try to get my hair done and I need to clean out closets and drawers.

Have a great weekend all!

I spent most of yesterday getting the plumbing leak fixed, and setting up my MiL’s monthly bills in a spreadsheet.

Today I have movers coming to give us a quote and have to keep my daughter moving on her room.
