Off the plateau!

As folks here know, I moved up here from Atlanta about six weeks ago, and have since started grad school and the like. Before I left Atlanta, I was in the process of fighting my weight back down, and I was doing acceptably well, although I had hit a major plateau.

Well, now that I’m hiking campus constantly and such, it’s dropping again. I’m down about 15 lbs since the move, and I’m managing the hills on campus much better (I was mainly working on the weight through diet in Atlanta, as the schedule and travel associated with the job gave me the excuse I needed to be a bum). It’s definitely a great benefit and I’m considering locating a pair of hockey skates (I hate figure skates - I tend to trip over the toe picks) and locating the local ice rink. Or, er, finally learning to ride a bike. Something generally fun. Or more than one something fun - exploring options is a good thing.
I have, however, accepted the fact that I will probably never make it below an XL in a shirt. That boobage factor, ya know.

Yay!

A plateau can be awfully frustrating. Glad to know you broke through.

Yours in weight loss,
