I thought it was sickening when Dubya won his second term, but if Trump actually gets in, I honestly don’t know how I can live in this country anymore. He is human garbage, and if we as a nation are too stupid, bigoted, and/or blind to see that, then we deserve him.
How the fuck can I raise a daughter in a country that elected, or came this close to electing, a fucking admitted sexual predator? What am I supposed to tell her? 
That may be, but if those who were somehow uninspired because of her ridiculous ‘scandals’, they’re going to have a lot of time to think about that vote, or that non-vote.

I think Gary Johnson voters probably went Trump at the last minute…which is exactly why Nate Silver pointed out that there was a lot of uncertainty in this race. Gary Johnson’s numbers went low, and Trump’s went higher.
Agreed. It’s really only a certain set of states we hang on. VA & NC are the biggest to me. Expected Trump to get Ohio, and Florida was always a likely possibility for him.

I have read all the threads here, and the blogs elsewhere, and have yet to see a cogent explanation for why the sonofabitch was seemingly immune to any and all sorts of scandals and revelations. If Nixon had had just one of those happen to him years ago he would have gotten 10% of the vote.
If a candidate is so utterly bulletproof in that way, where no matter what he says or does virtually nobody abandons him, I simply have no explanation. At all.
