Looks like African American voters just didn’t turn out. The harbinger of bad things to come was way back when Bernie stunned her in the primaries. Clinton just doesn’t pull the African American vote the way that Barack Obama did. But there’s another side, which is that Trump got out the angry white vote.
One thing to add, though. I’m so sick of people saying that this is mainly about economics – it’s fucking not about economics. It’s about white insecurity. I’ve been trying to say this the whole time and people tell me “Oh now, not all Trump voters are racist and not all white voters are racist.” Yeah, I know that.
My point is that whites are afraid of losing their majority. Has nothing to do with economics. Has to do with changing demographics. Period. And the worst is yet to come. The African American voters who stayed home had better realize that red states are going all out to make sure they NEVER get a chance to vote again – EVER.
I’ve said it before. This country is going back to the late 19th Century. It’s the second coming of Jim Crow. It’s coming, and minorities had better be ready for it.

This is really scaring me. It’s a mystery to me why Trump has done so well in this election cycle, winning the GOP nomination and now standing a solid chance to win the Big One. He is absolutely immune to any and all scandal and fact checking. I swear he could have just come out and taken a big stinky dump on stage during all the debates and he’d probably still be ahead. He takes a lick and not only keeps on ticking but actually gets more popular. Who are my countrymen? I don’t know them.
Wayne County has barely started reporting. 147 of 999 precincts. The slowest ones are probably the most highly Democratic.
This is now worrying. Have I totally underestimated just how disliked Hillary is by the American public? This should have been a cakewalk for the Democrats against a monster like Trump.

I’m just completely dumbfounded. I don’t even know how this is happening. I don’t know how I can stand living in a country where this many people are so ignorant/hateful to elect a man like that into office. I really am seriously wondering how difficult it is to be an illegal immigrant in Canada.
