Oh my, I have a date tonight.

He’s 22.

I’m going straight to hell.

What are you, like, 30?

I’ll save you a seat!

34

In a handbasket, I think.

Depending on your expectations, I predict the probabability of a boring evening.

He’s really lucky. Women aged 30 -40 are so hot! This is coming from a 22 year old too.

No freakin’ way. When I was 46 I had a 32 year old girlfriend. When I was 38 I had a 22 year old girlfriend.

The problems with the 22 year olds are mainly cultural differences, IMO. Not a lot of common ground when it comes to talking about stuff.

He’s old enough to know what he wants. Just be yourself. He’ll dig it!

(It is a guy, right? No dif, really.)

Well, yeah, if your expecting deep meaningful conversation, the evening may be a bust, but us thirtysomethings don’t go out with 22 year olds so we can “talk.”

Yah, he’s a guy. A really friggin’ hot 22 year old guy that cancelled with a 19 year old to go out with me instead. Heh. My head is going to be so friggin swollen…

You’ll be fine. Remember, 22 goes into 34 more than 34 goes into 22.

Yeah, but how many times? :dubious:

How did you meet him? I guess I have to admit that I am a little skeptical of these major age gaps having long-term potential, but since you’re both adults there’s no harm in it (I think a 22 year old and a 34 year old are on more equal footing than the situation I know of where a 29 year old guy started dating a 17 year old girl  ).
Good luck.

Yours isn’t the only one.

Only once but thank Og for remainders.

At 22? As many times as you want.

I was 20 when I married my then 30 year old wife. This is 9 years and counting. Remember age is just a number.

Did I mention long term potential anywhere? 'Cus that would be rediculous…

Hell. I’m coming. Quickly.

Anyhow - we actually do manage to find stuff to talk about for hours and hours, although I couldn’t tell you what it is.

Given his age, he may be also.
