Hi folks - Courtesy of a certain well-connected Doper who shall remain anonymous I had the rare privilege yesterday of marching in the famous parade. His role is that of a balloon “pilot”; the guy in charge of getting one balloon put together, inflated, crewed, walked down the parade route, and deflated, all without mishap. He’s assisted by about 7 other experts traveling the route with him, and about 90 mostly unskilled drones holding the lines that control the path and altitude of the balloo…
