being held in Ann Arbor, MI November 10th and 11th.
SEVERAL, male dopers have asked to be allowed to attend and if I am not mistaken, some concessions have been made.

I declare that any male(s) helping the lovely, the witty, the utterly desirable Geobabe make it to Michigan to my house so I can heist her keester to the Midwest Chick Dope has my permission to attend said event also. Bring your own jammies.
Well, I can’t attend, so therefore I cannot offer a ride for Geobabe, but I can talk to my dad, who works for TWA, and see what I can do about possible airline tickets (if she doesn’t mind flying standby). My dad is allowed a certain number of EEE passes a year, and I’m not sure if he’s used them up or promised them off already. I can have a definite answer in about a week.
According to travelocity, there is no itinerary that will get the Babe from BWI to Ann Arbor (I’m assuming Reagan National will still be closed, and no one wants to fly out of Dulles). Do you guys even have an airport?
Well that could put a damper on things. Another drawback of the cheap seats - not only do you fly standby, sometimes the airline doesn’t go where you wanna go.

manny darlin’ I’m seeing your post on preview. It just so happens that I live right next to Dulles. So there goes your theory that no one wants to fly out of there. Detroit would be the appropriate destination.
Dulles to Detroit. Send me your IRL info (address, etc.) Do you prefer United, Northwest (both non-stop), Delta or Continental (both one stop)? Preferred departure times?
For me right now, the NYCDope is no more than a big fat maybe. Besides, there’s a stupid moderator one-upping me. (rassin frassin mods with their stinkin money and stuff)
Um, well, it looks like you’ve got it all squared away. I was going to suggest Flint Bishop airport, since I only live three miles from there, and I’m only about 45 minutes from where the ChickFest will be held.
Sigh.
But hey, if me being late with this offer means manny’s coming to ChickDope, weeeeeelllll…I guess I can live with that.
