Saturday Night Dinner will be at Watson Bros. Brewery in Blue Ash. Now I could say that this if for historical reasons. I could say that it’s just down the street from my house (and over a block or two). But the sad truth was that I was just too tired & lazy to think of anything else that would be simple to give directions to and that could easily accomodate a party of over 10 on a Saturday night. If anyone has a more brilliant (and workable solution) we could change, but it’s probably best saved for the next one. But they are nice, some of the menu items are reasonably priced and the food is pretty good. Plus they have beer and big beer vats. Maybe we should bring our swimsuits?
I made a reservation for 12 people at 6:30 pm under the names Adams. Please RSVP so that I know how to adjust this.
Also, there is a menu on the website, but it only shows the more expensive half of the menu. There is also a pub menu that is similar, but not identical, to the lunch menu on the site. Pub menu = $8-11, Bistro menu = $14-26.

Oh! About the Mystery Guest. (Sorry, I’m on the quicky box at the bottom of the thread and i don’t feel like doing the colors. Sue me.) Can said Guest be covered with a tarp untill everyone shows up and then whoosh the tarp is pulled away to reveil the mysteriousness? That would be cool. (Except for the Mystery Guest, who might get hot under a tarp.)

So, it appears I’m not the mystery guest - unless someone kidnaps me on my way to my car this afternoon. [sub]Did I remember to wear unholey underwear??[/sub] I did, just for giggles, take a look at what airfare from Jax to Cinci would cost - something over $1000 on Delta for a weekend trip. Right. Much as I luvs ya all, ain’t no way you’re worth that kinda cash. So, I’ll be home, alone, feeling sorry for myself. <sigh> If someone wants to call, tho… 
Damn, I thought that we were going to do something during the day as I am going to St Louis on Sat Afternoon. I will not be getting to the area until 10:30 or 11pm on Friday night, do you guys think you’ll still be there then? And are they any activities going on Sat Morning or I probably will not be able to show up.
Actaully if someone could tell me how far it is to St Louis via Springfield, IL and then to Cinci then I might be able to show up for the Sat evening stuff.

Springfield, Il. to St. Louis is 100 miles or an hour and 44 minutes.
Springfield to Cincy (through Indianapolis) is 324 miles or 5 hours and 32 minutes.
Thanks Rue. I think I can actually make it on Sat night. I’ll have to find a hotel in the area. Oh yeah is there a dress code for the place we’re going? I’ll be coming in on my motorcycle so I will not be looking my best unless I bring something. I’m talking about boots, shorts, and a t-shirt, and you guys will be lucky if I get a chance to shower too! 
Well I’m planning on showing up on Sat night. I’m making a reservation at the Red Roof Inn that they say is near the resturant so I should be able to walk there. And I plan on taking a shower!

Well, I just got another call from Zappo not too long ago and he had a (hopefully) minor accident somewhere near the Tennessee - Kentucky border. Apparently he was doing his best Badluck Schleprock imitation and had a thunderstorm following him around. He hydroplaned and ended up offroading. He was talking to some nice state troopers and needed to make sure there wasn’t any hidden damages to his car before heading on.
He will call me back a bit later when he has more info on his situation. If he is going to be extremely late then I will head up to the restaurant to meet you all before the aptly named Taurus of Doom arrives.
Oh, and if you haven’t met Rue he really does look like Stephen King and Dave Barry’s love child. It’s canny, I tell you.
Shibb, you should add the when Rue wears a dress, he looks amazingly like Bridgette Bardot if she was the spawn of Stephen King and Dave Barry…

Zappo has called in, he’s okay, he’s on his way again. I will call him in half an hour or so to get an update on his progress. It’s starting to feel like when they track Santa Claus on doppler radar during Christmas Eve.
Anyone interested in the Aquarium or Zoo tomorrow (Sat) afternoon? I was considering going there for the day before heading to the dinner.
We just got back in from the very late dinner. We were thinking to go to Jungle Jim’s at some point tomorrow. I wouldn’t mind to hit the aquarium, but the zoo is half priced, so I could be persuaded to go either way (I have paid zoo and museum center memberships so they’re both free for me and my family).
