Same here. FCD occasionally obsesses about wanting a perfect lawn. But the way I see it - if it’s green and doesn’t harbor stickers or poison ivy, then it’s close enough. I suppose if we had all kinds of money lying around waiting to be spent, I might hire someone to give us such a lawn, but we don’t, so I won’t.
About the same for me (maybe 15 miles) and since they don’t serve Coke products, I resist going there. The last time we went (some months ago) it really wasn’t all that good. I avoid IHOP for the same reason - no Coke products.
For me it’s - Whaddya mean my baby girl will be 40 this year?!?!?
I still have some assorted partial skeins of yarn left, so I’m making a rectangular granny square-style lap robe. The colors are not at all complimentary, but I don’t care. If it’s warm, that works. As soon as I’m done ingesting lunch, I’ll get back to my recliner and Death in Paradise. I swear, for a small Caribbean island, they sure do have a lot of murder!
