It may be love or war or moppin’ up the floor but do it.
The song also included the line:
To think about all the miles we’ve gone
Speak for yourself, Dear John
The verses would end:
Do it yourself.
I’ve never been able to identify the song…perhaps sung by Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughn (whom I have seen in person).
