My folks did this for me when I moved back from Missouri. It was a big help. Whereabouts in Missouri are they going? We were in Columbia, which is about halfway between Kansas City and Saint Louis.
My mom was a teacher for over 30 years and refused to join the union. I’m still horrified. I unionized the second that I could.

We’re having a family Father’s Day at my folks, with my sister’s family. I’m making a huge pork shoulder roast, and we’re having corn, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, key lime pie, and strawberries dipped in chocolate. I got some farm stand strawberries and they are amazing. All other strawberries should bow down.
Tuesday we’ve got a new mattress coming. We’re “sleeping” on a 10 year old foam mattress that was a demo model that we got for cheap. It’s awful. I wake up in pain in the middle of the night because it’s so unsupportive. I’m really looking forward to the new one. Hopefully it won’t suck.
Other than that plans for the next few days include hours of empty box flattening. Hubby wants to keep every box we used during our move. My entire hallway is full of carrdboard boxes and I am done with it. So completely done. We’re this → < – close to being on a hoarder’s show and I hate it…
