Happy Moonday, all! Today is the last day of the Con, and I only have one game tonight at 1900. I’m so glad that I’m getting a chance to play, even if it’s only a once a year thing.
Let me check with Hubby. I know that he has a few places online that he games. I just haven’t had the time for a regular game.
The app is called What Not but is more a giveaway/auction site for businesses to move stock. Hubby sold some of his first edition lands (running about $200/piece) to one of the local game shops and I know that he has a few online places that he checks prices of as well. While I’m checking with him on the RP sites, I’ll ask about the sites he buys and sells cards on.
Same here! I just have to look back and remind myself “Nope. Son, not Sister!”

I think you would have as well. While it can’t help with the genes, maybe volunteering through a youth organization. Passing on the knowledge can sometimes be as satisfying as passing on the genes.
I think it’s cute!
And now, for the second time in 10 minutes, I’ve choked on my mango limeade.
Come on Wednesday!
FCM, I’m glad that it’s on his chart. I have to remind my dad all the time that even if something has stopped, his doctor needs to know in case it happens again.
My mom used to preload when she was much younger and much healthier. I can’t imagine any of her drivers being too pleased if they’d sent them out that way, so I don’t blame you for getting out while the getting was good!
The painting class sounds fun, Cookie. The apartment complex we used to live in had a couple nights where they did painting and wine. I still have both the pictures I painted. I’ve hung them in the bathroom, not because I’m ashamed of them but because I don’t really have anywhere else TO hang them!
metal mouse, forgetting a yearly recurring charge seems like something I would do. And then cause more problems when I tried to reverse it. I’m glad that you were able to finally put two and two together and come up with something other than 5.
shoe, honey… even if they ARE problems of your own making (and a lot of them don’t seem to be to me - they gummit should have sent the paperwork far sooner than they did in case there was an issue with the mail, and wrapping your mind around all the emotional shit, well, I’m right beside you, sister!) we are still hear to listen, commiserate and give hugs. And I’m a hug ninja so you can’t stop me! Bwahahahahaha! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{shoe}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
FCM, that’s some gorgeous work on the boards! Tell FCD that at least one Mumper (with no artistic talent whatsoever, but you don’t need to mention that part) is seriously impressed!
Godbod, early happy birthday! You were missed!
So, things here… It’s been a bit of a rainy day, so I haven’t spent as much time on the porch as in the past. I did take CtE out to go walking this morning. They brought an umbrella and I was very proud of their dedication. When we got home, they helped me color my hair. I’d share a pic, but it never looks as good inside as it does outside. I will share later though.
Tonight is the last game for the Con. It’s the only game that Hubby and I are playing in together, so I’m looking forward to it. I’ve been sitting far too much so my back is acting up but I have days to rest so it will all be good. Originally I was planning on getting back into cleaning, but I think self care will be higher on the list. That and more reading.
I’m in a geeky poly group on the book of faces and actually managed to meet someone that grew up 30 minutes from where I did in New York. We’ve been chatting a lot today, finding we know some of the same people, remembering some of the same places. We’ve got a lot of geekiness in common and I’m just loving finding a new friend to talk to. I’ve actually made a couple of friends through the group and I’m enjoying having someone new to talk to. It’s helping make MFN’s silence a little easier.
Now I’d better go figure out supper before the next game begins. I should be back to normal* tomorrow!
