Not an exciting day. Washed dishes, watched mass with Hubs (it’s the one out of Boston and I like their accents), watched 3 episodes of Downton Abbey and been doping ever since. Daughter sent a pic of her NYE outfit; she’s accessorizing with some of my Mom’s jewelry. I’m glad it’s getting some use.

I’ve got a bottle of < squinting > Toques et Clochers Crémant de Limoux sparkling wine and could use some help guzzling sipping the bottle away.
Before you agree to help dispose of it, I should mention that I found it while straightening up my pantry and it’s from 2005. It was tucked under a shelf and I had no idea it was there. That’s really, really old for a mid-range sparkling wine, and I didn’t know how it would be to drink.
As it turns out, better than I expected!
Also some salami, cheese and whole grain crackers and an apple.
My thanks for the wonderfulness of Mumpers in particular and the SDMB in general. My life is much enriched thanks to you all.
May 2024 be a far better year than 2023!
Mrs W and I are enjoying a lovely bottle of Bouchaine Reserve Chardonnay, and have a bottle of Chandon Brut at the ready for midnight toasts in the various time zones.
