**Reverent Threshold’**s Werewolf (first game on the SDMB)
**NAF’**s Werewolf 2 (first calling of it “mafia”) (this is the game where storyteller did his now legendary play of winning as scum since he went after other scum)
**Gadarene’**s Mafia III Mafia IV was the first one held on my boards. Malacandra’s pirate one. (this is the game I (Idle Thoughts) started the “big font” that I’m known for) Blaster Master’sMafia V: The Cult of Sekham (this is the game that has the now famous name “Masongate” happen in it)
I hosted Mafia VI, which was the last numbered Mafia game. It was held on Idle Mafia.
After that, games were played on here and on Idle Mafia. The numbers were dropped.
There were many more mafia games played on here, the above is just a small handful. If you want to find them, just search “mafia” in “thread titles” on here.
My first game wearing big mafia pants ( after the lighter game that** Idle **introduced me to)
I remember being schooled by **Special Ed ** ( what ever happened to him?)
and many others but Ed sticks in my head because he was tough on the n00b
II seem o recall being characterized by the experienced at the time as " Meeko’s evil sister"
I don’t remember if ** Peeker ** was in my first ‘real game’ but I did get to play with him---- I created the ‘Parti’ series of games in his honour after he transitioned
players drink all day and play poker all night * I thought he would like that.
I am not sure one handles a game this size. I think it handles you. Sort of like hopping on a huge dangerous-looking amusement park ride and then holding on for dear life with eyes closed until your ride is over.
raventhief, you more than hold your own in the games I have seen you play. Just post an “/In.” You will be fine.
Don’t let these old-schoolers intimidate you. I have only been playing for 18 months and I say to these retirement home out-of-shape “back-when-I-used-to-play-there-were-no-cell-phone” geezers: “BRING IT ON!!!”
My second game (and first as scum). My first game was Batman.
IIRC, none of the four of us had played scum before that, and I think it was cckerberos’s first game.
peekercpa’s ballsy claim of detective was a think of beauty. I thought he was crazy for doing it, but it worked out. I don’t know how he managed it but he was the king of surprisingly effective strategies that seem to go against everything traditional wisdom would dictate.
