It takes a certain sort of person to
that sort of thing, I’m glad you are in the club. ![]()
James sounded pretty excited by the idea and wants popcorn. Hubs is not as excited, he watched about half an hour of The Reanimator and that was his limit. Fallout Four just expanded, so he’ll spend his afternoon in his room doing whatever they do in that game.
(He’s taken me to places in the game, Hillbilly Hotdog was top of his list.)
I wrote a screed about quitting the Men’s Club
Every so often I think I’ll join the local Woman’s Club but then I remember the bumper stickers I saw that time in the parking lot and change my mind again.
Cold coffee! Cold coffee, I say!
I’m a fan of cold coffee in the summer, not so much this time of year. You’d best restock on salsa while you are on your bagel run!
Just popping in to wave, blow kisses, and throw confetti
Blows kisses back. Can the two dogs be cared for at the same time?
Damn about your contact lens, I remember what a bother it was to get it made.
I brought a few with me when I moved. I used them for packing material.
Some people plan better than others.
I passed the USPS assessment test for my rural mail carrier application.
While I think you would be great no matter where you end up, rural mail carrier sounds perfect for you. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines will be such a bonus.
Fed and counselled.
I’m glad you went. You are walking a very lonely road, you need a trusted adviser on the journey.
So my day was a day. I haven’t been swimming lately, I had to take a break because the road is so ick in the snow and ice and I haven’t gone back. I don’t like it, it is boring so now that I’m out of the habit, I don’t want to start again.
Tai Chi friend recorded herself teaching a beginners class and sent it to me. Today I fired it up and got started. I like TC much better than swimming boring laps and I think it does more for me. I will miss the eye candy, though, you have to walk past the gym windows to get to the locker room.
Speaking of TC friend, she used to be a hospice nurse. She loved her patients and went above and beyond for them. She wasn’t being paid enough and was expected to do things alone that demanded two people for safety. So, she found a job on a ranch and quit. Another compassionate medical person is gone. She thinks cleaning stables is better than washing bedpans any day.
