(Old) Wait - what time is it in the MMP?

No, you are not.

Not even close.

Swimming has been swum and dishwasher has performed it’s function and I even mopped the kitchen floor, so a fairly constructive afternoon. Cheeseburger and chips in a little bit then maybe back to the gym this evening.

Everyone take care.

I considered it today.

There will be more scars.

I’m sad and disappointed in my fellow Americans. We can do better.

It was a somewhat quiet day at irk, what with a lot of us disappointed and the others mostly having sense enough not to poke anyone. Now to survive the next four years.

Stay safe and healthy y’all!

I now have a new furnace. The cost was slightly less than a European vacation. Went to the barn. Waved at Ariel. Leftover braised short ribs for dinner.

I eventually put on pajama pants of dubious cleanliness, successfully completed ^^ errand, and am awaiting my adulting award patty melt “breakfast”.

Since there was a bag o’ marked-down lollipops on the break table yesterday & I snagged a couple, I can at least say that I got my wowwipop.

Sunday I made thick, bone-in Shake 'n Bake poke chops, with mashed red garlic potatoes (w/butter and cream), and packet country gravy. Hey, we like Shake 'n Bake poke chops! We had leftovers last night, but there are still potatoes left. So today I got the meatloaf out of the freezer (I always make two). It’s in the oven cooking now. I’m hoping it will be done in an hour.

You’re not alone in this. I spent 23 years in the military and another eight years working for federal entities. I would never make that commitment today.

Daughter is worried about hate and ugliness being directed at her children because they’re mixed race (to quote Roxy, “Daddy is black and Mommy is white and I’m brown.”) I don’t think this county is as nasty as that, but now that permission seems to have been granted, she needs to talk to them, tho mostly Roxy. That girl has never met a stranger and she needs to learn “Stranger danger.”

Anyway, that’s what had her so upset. She’s going to talk to her MIL and SIL for help and advice since they both raised kids here. I do see a lot of mixed race couples around here so maybe there won’t be problems. Maybe.

Anyway, we had a random supper and now they’ve gone home and it’s quiet again, except for the dishwasher. Hope I sleep better tonight.

Howdy Y’all! Been home from church doin’s for a while and just chillaxin’. We et bbq sammiches, baked beans, slaw, chips and cookies. I think I’ve had enough bbq sammiches for a while as that’s what we et for yestiddy’s sup. Anywho, there was a good crowd. I drove back to da cave in a downpour. Could’ve done without that, but we need the rain.

Happy Hump Day!

The weather has been beautiful, but no park as my son is wiped out from work each morning.
I’m hoping he doesn’t have OT this week.

Since the weather is nice, everybody is out and about in town. Last night some guy was on a motorized skate board weaving through the cars.

Friday they are scheduled for daycare so we can make another dump run, and then wash and vacuum the truck so we can put in the new floor mats and seat covers.
One more dump run and all the cardboard should be gone.
It would be nice if we could fit in grocery shopping as well.
It’s supposed to rain all weekend, it’s best to get all the running done while it’s dry.
The dogs do not like this truck. It sits just a little bit higher and is just a tiny bit narrower. The little bit narrower makes it easier to get in and out of the garage.

They were bratty this morning. I think something was in the back yard last night, or maybe right outside the fence. Echo walked the fence line with a very intent look on her face. The boys kept sniffing around, but they looked confused. None of them would come into the garage, so I had to go back into the house to get some bribes. Misiu is stubborn. The breeder told me never do anything with a Shar Pei that you don’t want to continue doing. I thought maybe I could get away with using treats to entice them into the garage once.

NTA Shoe

We are concerned about our marriage being voided.

Went grocery shopping, then bible class.
Things are okay.
Also told my ex I’m not gonna marry him, he had his chance, we done.

Evening all. Spent a couple hours post-cheeseburger burning off the calories, while getting some reading and TV watching in while doing it. Weight is showing at 204.8 on the gym scale, I think I’ll keep up the extra evening exercise and see if I can get it below 200, just to say I did it…my goal weight is around 215-220lbs, so as long as I don’t overeat to severely over the Holidays I think I can meet that.

Sticky Buns, glad you have your ramp now and you do a lot better with snacks for working folks than I do (I do have water and soda for them).

FCM, I think we all have some nook or cranny that has ‘stuff’ we don’t recall using or even having and probably has several items that could be donated. I know where mine is, and might even dig around in it…sometime… And I don’t know how you do what you do on so little sleep; if I don’t have 6 hours at least, I’m dragging the whole day.

And I can understand your daughter’s distress. I live in a very mixed community, my youth soccer teams this fall had white, black, hispanic and asian kids all together and everyone seemed to get along just fine, but still…

shoe, hope father gets off his high horse before he falls off…and your a good human being, never doubt that.

red, JtC, have never smoked and never been tempted, but been around smokers and know how hard that drug grabs folks. Be strong.

wet one, got a new HVAC system a couple years ago; I know what you mean.

lily, I don’t think they can do that, but I do worry about those in the future.

Coppertone, you go, girl! Be true to yourself.

And need to get the sweaty wet clothes out of thr drier and into the laundry baskets and them beging thinking about bed-time. Catch y’all tomorrow.

for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them”.

Our daughter said this is what she has been doing off and on today.
I felt my eyes start to fill with tears at one point but I was able to hold it together though I’ve been kind of dejected and anxious all day.

Very nice to be amongst many others of like mind.

Post cheeseburger. I like that. Its not EST anymore; PCT!

I’m so sorry.

This is what makes me the most angry at the people who said “I’m voting my wallet,” mostly middle-aged straight white men. Faulty reasoning aside, they just don’t care about who their vote might be hurting if they think they’ll pay 1% less in taxes.

Thank you, but sure they can. Cite: Roe v. Wade.

I’m concerned for your marriage, too, and that of others. I’ll be there on the front lines defending your rights, as slim a comfort as that may be.

My son has been having palpitations. I’m worried about him. Upon request, I pulled together all the documents I have that might help family members who are considering becoming Italian citizens. I understand completely, but it breaks my heart after all my mother’s dreams and personal sacrifices for this, her beloved adopted country.

You have my heartiest wishes. This is some bullshit.

Up, caffeinated and sheveled. Off to heave.
