I got my epidural done.
It doesn’t hurt they said, you’ll only feel pressure, they said.
Bullshit!
That ‘pressure’ went down my legs and up into my belly. I got cramps afterwards, and have been getting them off and on all day. I still hurt, but in a different way.
I think a good night of sleep may make a difference.
They said I didn’t need a driver, but some people do because they feel a little woozy afterwards. The doctor wants to do another procedure, and I will need a driver for that one.
I’m supposed to put ice on the shot site every hour, but until it hurt, I forgot to.
After that we went to pick up a script. After sitting at the window for 15 minutes and being ignored, we left. We went home to pick up the pups, then went to get my son’s glasses. I wanted to go to Brusters, but they didn’t open until noon, 45 minutes later. I saw a Roy Rogers and got some lunch since I didn’t eat anything but a hard-boiled egg.
Going to Brusters on one of the hottest days of the year was kind of stupid. None of the tables had umbrellas and they had no way of packing up a cone. We tried to eat it fast, but I ended up in the truck with the AC running. I sat in there with the dogs, my son stood in the parking lot. The pup cups had lids, but there was no way I was letting the pups eat them in the truck.
Brusters makes their own waffle cones, and they are pretty soft. The cones were falling apart as the ice cream melted. My son and I had ice cream on our shirts, on our pants, on our shoes, and I had it in my hair.
When we got home, the pups got their cups on the deck.
Adam pushed his way in and had a little ice cream too.
Misiu is better. You’d never know Rayleigh was hurt, he is full of piss and vinegar. I have a rug in the kitchen that covers part of the AC vent. He pushes that rug up and flops right on the vent.
We didn’t make it to the PO because I realized I didn’t put the paper in the envelope so that the address shows through the window.
After we got home, I was going to sit down and call the lawyer referrals.
Much to my surprise, I got a call from the lawyer handling my mother’s estate. The one who said he couldn’t talk to me.
He apologized for the error, that it was his firm’s mistake. I said yes, and I was advised by my lawyer not to sign it. He said I could cross out the bad info and put in correct info, but that was a hard NO from me.
I said no offense, but in light of several things that have happened, I don’t trust any of you. He said yes, that happens. He was going to send out new forms today, but decided he wanted the money person in the office to check the figures. The new forms will be mailed on
Monday. Then he said something about my son not signing the forms and I said he lives with me and he isn’t signing his until mine is correct.
So, was it a typo and an honest mistake? Probably. Do I trust any of them? Absolutely not!
They also forgot to include the report showing how the money was distributed.
While I had him on the phone, he cleared up a point of confusion for me. The amount, even corrected, is way too low. The annuity was not included in the total amount, because it isn’t going to be cashed in. We all get a percentage, then we can do what we want with it.
Now I have to create an account with that company and give the account number to my niece.
I don’t like giving out that kind of info, to anybody.
Bad enough I had to give her my social security number.
We got the thunder boomers tonight that we were supposed to get last night. The power flickered but didn’t go out.
Safe travels home BooFae
I wondered why Weeble looked angry. A bath will do it. I hope he finds a nice home; he is cute.
Black cats are my favorite.
I think I have never seen Major Crimes
JtC, one day we will have to compare sister notes.
{{Quietly}}
So much for going to bed early tonight.
I plan on sleeping in anyway.
And we’re going to Barky/Humpy house tomorrow to pet sit them for a bit. We’ll take Echo and the GR with us, so five dogs to watch.
