OMG, I'm the first? An MMP

I beg your pardon?
Third time lucky, and all that.

Much to my surprise, shopping was a success! I came home with 4 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, and 1 sweater for $58! Uh, let’s not talk about how much one pair of shoes cost, though. :stuck_out_tongue:

I still need a few more things, but it was definitely a good start.

Let me guess, you’ll spend a lot of time out in the ceement pond. In fact, I happen to have a picture of you out swimmin’…

After working on the bike, I’m greasy, not oily; & what am I supposed to do with a rodent???

I don’t believe your name came up in the discussion, Spidey.

I am actually going to do just that for a Departmental party that we’re having on the 24th for my old masters program. I’m really excited to see everybody and to bring my homemade jelly

Well, you were describing me in the 4th word of post #166.

Happy Firday!

I need sleep, this waking up and not being able to go back to sleep is getting old.

It’s a dark 76 degrees. Dark because I am up too early and have been since 2:36.

I get to watch PiddlePup today and tomorrow.

Swampy, every time I see the Charmin’ commercial with the bears I think of you.

Yay for happy clothes shopping Sticky.
I hate to shop. I think it is because my mother lives to shop and when I was a kid she’d drag me from store to store and of course go back and buy the first thing she saw.

Spidey forget the rodent and the oil, how are you at carrying boxes and furniture?

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 94 for the day and a thirty percent chance of rain. It’s been four days since we’ve had rain. Wonder how long that will hold out.

StickyBuns yay for successful clothes shoppin’!

Hmm… so everytime you see one of those commercials you think of me wipin’ my butt?:stuck_out_tongue:

Ok, now i need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. Mayhaps I shall make a short day of it today.

Happy Firday Y’all!

Holy crap, it’s humid out there!! When I took Higgs out this morning, I almost felt like I had to tread water in my own yard. It feels more like August, and I’m hating it. ick.

I was talking to my mom yesterday, and her travel agent - the one arranging our cruise - is trying to turn it into a group cruise. I assume that leads to better fares. So if any of you want to spend 4 weeks at sea next August/September, PM me and I’ll get the info to you. One of my cousins plans to go if she can find a roomie - she’s not bringing the grouch of a spousal unit with her, so yay!! Another couple of Mom’s friends are also coming.

On one hand, I’m glad she’ll have other people to entertain her. On the other, I hope we’re not saddled with them for every excursion. When we went to Bermuda last year with the inlaws, we had a very limited range of travel on land because his folks couldn’t handle the walking. I don’t want that when we’re going to so many cool places - I intend to see Stonehenge, dammit!

Today’s a random crab day, so I can try to monitor any of my crabbers - in fact, I’m supposed to try to get as many as possible. So far, no one has logged in on as crabbing. **FCD **will be doing his own “crabbing” - he ordered crabs and snails for our aquarium and they’re coming today.

Speaking of the aquarium - it has a new feature - a corals shelf. **FCD **is making frags (short for fragments - starter pieces of coral on small bits of rock) of the various coral in the hopes of selling them. He was going to set up a separate tank, but for now, there’s just a shelf with an assortment of corals growing on bits of rock. We’ll see if it amounts to anything.

Other than possible crabber trips today, I plan to finish the tea towels and deliver them to the store, plus I’ll continue working on texting mitts. And I might even run a vacuum or even dust. It’s going to be too icky outside to do otherwise.

Happy Firday!!

Blurf.

Didn’t get the room I was hoping for :frowning:

Going to see someone later today to see about another, possibly two- I’m not sure about the second, something about the guy seems a little… off? I dunno.

Anyway, I s’pose I should go do something.

Too much went on last night. I don’t have time to post about it all. I have to drag my ass off to class.

I has a big blurf today. I am irked because I spent ages yesterday sourcing rooms for four additional seminar sessions that I’m now told might not be needed. One problem is that they have a 9am seminar which two of the new tutors apparently cannot get here in time for. Then today I find out that one of them comes from the same place as me - if I can be here for 9am, why can’t she?

I am feeling a mite hacked off with this job and will be pleased to leave. The 23rd can’t come round quick enough.

In other news, I did not get the job I interviewed for on Tuesday and found that out by email today. It’s almost as bad as getting dumped by text! However, I am off t get my hair cut tomorrow and I’m visiting my doting parent on Sunday so I have stuff to look forward to.

Sorry, Scarie. :frowning:

Woohoo! Two crabbers today within an hour and 3 miles of each other!! I’ll need to leave in about an hour anna half. I might have had 3, but one guy posted a short trip too late for me to get dressed and get to his landing site in time. Dem’s da breaks…

Morning, y’all. I’m sitting on the porch, drinking coffee.

Sorry, Boofae

What kind of crab are you getting? We want one of these.

We’re getting 50 assorted hermits and 5 emerald crabs - nothing fancy, just a cleaning crew.

you sure you don’t want some of these?

**rosie **- they’re too noisy… :stuck_out_tongue:
