OMG, I'm the first? An MMP

I’m grumpy. There was much banging and cutting of pipes near my room this morning, and it has just ruined my day for me. Grrrrr.

Not much irk to do today other than just sit here with a dumb look on my face, and I’m really good at that.

I wanna go home. Less than 2 weeks to go. Yay.

Hope y’all are well… hugs

OK, everyone check for signs of the Apocalypse. I may have triggered it. I dusted. Yes, I armed myself with a soft cloth and a can of lemon Pledge. My furniture no longer looks snowed-upon.

I also vacuumed - I’m pretty sure I had enough animal hair to knit a small kitten.

Plus I did dishes. That’s a trifecta of chores. Surely a sign of the END OF THE WORLD!!! <cue dramatic minor chord>

Went to the post office.
Stopped at Gino’s on the way back and got Sah-son a Cherry Cheesecake milkshake which made him happy.
He is going to miss Gino’s milkshakes after we move, but they have a Sonic out there and I hear their shakes are good.

I want a nap but I need to irk.
Maybe I should nap now anyway, then irk later since it’s so damn noisy in the house now anyway.

My mother’s not here, I had leftover pizza for supper, and the Sam Roberts Band is about to come on the radio. yay! I hope I can see them live again someday.

I have consumed my grown up dindin. 'Twas good. I am proud of myself.

I talked with OYKW. He reported that the community [del]kegger[/del] bbq was a success and a good time was had by all. This mornin’ one of his bros and he loaded up the empty kegs and took 'em back to the place in Meridian, MS they came from. Meridian is the nearby “big town” so that should give you an idea of where he grew up. When I say the wilds of west Alabammy I mean the “wilds.”

Dang MOOOOOOM what’s next, washin’ windows? :stuck_out_tongue:

Thus is the excitatement in swampland.

Too hot to do windows! :stuck_out_tongue:

Supper was yum! Ribeye steak, corn on the cob, N.O.T.s. I’s stuffded!! **FCD **is doing the dishes. I need to empty the dishwasher, then refill it. Eventually.

What? Did he get jealous watchin’ you do dishes earlier? :stuck_out_tongue:

I cook, he cleans up. It’s called teamwork! :stuck_out_tongue:

Heh. I’ll let OYKW clean up. However, I must be the one that puts stuff away. I’m kinda OCD with where stuff goes in the kitchen.

Ribeye steak grilled here, too. Tater Tots and those large French fries Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) likes.

Swampy, I am curious. Are OYKW’s brothers also gray?

I worked on the plumbing for the saltwater sump and arranged the rockwork again with the base rock on the bottom.

My dinner was chicken boobs with stewed tomatoes and rice.
I wish I had had some feta cheese to stir in.
I want to knock off work early and get some sleep but I have a birthday party to go tomorrow and I will say I’ll going for a few hours and end up staying all night so I’d better get plenty of work in today.

I like Blue Buffalo dog food but I sure hate their commercials, especially the cat ones.

OYKW’s brothers are indeed gray bein’ as they are older than he is. However, they all like girls witnessed by the fact they married wimmens.

MARRIED WIMMINS?? That right thar should be agin’ the law! It ain’t right, I tell ya! Menfolk marryin’ wimminfolk? EWWWWWWWWWWWwwww…

Well, we have 1.5 items dealt with out of the 3 that were fails on the smog check. Gas cap replaced and PCV-thingie part ordered (we’ll collect and install that Tuesday). Still got to sort out a vacuum hose issue or two.

Stupid car handed us a scare with some transmission misbehavior. According to DH, the most probable cause for this is too-old transmission fluid, so we need to add getting that changed to the car-stuff-to-do list. Money pit on wheels, this piece of rolling citrus is.

On the plus side, all laundry is clean and put away, and the hamper should be empty until tomorrow evening. Sometimes it’s those little victories in life.

Happy Sunday!

It’s a dark 70 degrees outside because as it has been lately I am awake in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep.

Hopefully I will get a little more sleep this am, irk, then get ready to go to the party. The party should be nice, if I can stay awake. I’ll have to get a card, but since it’s for a teen the gift is easy - CASH.

Second day in a row up at 5 - I thought the dog had gotten used to sleeping till after 6. Obviously not. Oh well…

We’re going out for breakfast today - first time in a long time - because **FCD **wants to. We’ve got to get some milk on the way back. And I’m going to make another batch of peach jam later. Dem’s da big plans of the day. Also a crabber, if any decide to go out.

Happy Sunday!

At last, my sweetie is up, showered, and dressed. Off to breakfast with us! Yay!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis a rather pleasant 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 94 and maybe a chance of rain. Later this week the weather PTB say the highs will be ONLY in the low to mid 80s. Well, BRRRRR!

Nettie my hamper is also empty. Alas, however, there are unironed shirts hangin’ in the laundry room. Apparently the ironin’ fairy is boycottin’ da cave.

Ok that’s all I got for now. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, purtification for deheathenization must commence. I have ush duty today plus I promised to show up a little early to make coffee so the Luteruns can have coffee after the nine a.m. service. The person who usually does this is out of town and apparently the coffee maker befuddles all but a very few of us. Oh well, they bring treats and since I’m the coffee maker I get to partake so there’s that.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Is afternoon for me :stuck_out_tongue:

Just spent the mornin’ sittin’ on a rugby pitch sellin’ books ‘n stuff to serious hagglers- got rid of quite a bit, but there’s still masses more stuff to shift. Ugh. Didn’t make much money, but didn’t expect to- it’s better than freecycling the lot, getting pestered at home for several weeks, and getting nothin’ for the privilege.

Was terribly pretty on the way down, about 7.30 ay emm- the city’s got a hot air balloon fiesta going on at the moment, and there were easily 30 big balloons floatin’ over in the mornin’ calm. Sadly, I didn’t have a camera, and I wouldn’t have pictures if I did, seein’ as I was drivin’ at 50mph at the time. Take my word for it though- it was pretty.

I need to take some pop cans back to the store to get money for Pez candy. My life is full of vice.
