OMG, I'm the first? An MMP

Here’s some information about the balloon crash. Sadly, someone was killed. It was a balloon pilot who was assisting with a landing, so not our Spidey, but still sad, of course. :frowning:

I’m sure it didn’t feel that way to you, but it sounds like a defective garment to me, Sticky.

Spent 2 hours out in the garden, doing miscellaneous clean-up. It is hot out, so I quit to go run some errands.

While I was out there, I saw a hummingbird that actually paused for 1/2 a second or so on one of the wires that goes into my neighbor’s house. It was very cute.

Dug up a bunch of lilies of the valley and daylilies so that I can re-plant that section of the bed. Big fun.

Am now going in search of various items (more leaf bags; why are there never enough leaf bags?).

Back after a while to report on adventures.

Hugs all.

Congrats, Nuts!! I’m sure that’s a huge relief!

I’m thinking I might head down to my studio for a little bit. But I’m not too motivated…

Howdy Y’all! I have deheathenated, had N.O.L. and have had a short nappy poo. I also have a grrrrrrr. I ushed today as mentioned earlier. After the service whilst I was collectin’ the money out of the alms basins (an ush duty is to collect all cash and checks, count the cash and turn it all over to the treasurer) I was approached by a Vestry member (apparently the self-appointed Nazi Fuhrer of ushers) and bereated because neither I nor my co-usher spent the entire service in the Narthex “because as long as there are children present outside of the main church an usher is supposed to be in the Narthex in case sump’n happens and that’s just way it is.” So I responded that if the Vestry is concerned about safety and security then paid security needs to be hired as ushers should not be expected to perform security duties. He was taken somewhat aback but he done gone and riled da bear which ain’t a good thing. YP, our Senior Warden and our Junior Warden shall be hearin’ an earful. It’s not nice to po da bear.

Nuts yay on fndin’ new digs that take fishies and mices!

I say the plural of Pez is Pezez because that amuses me.

Fishies, but not meece :frowning:

Meeces is going to need a new home, or hunty kitty will eat 'em- a cat that once caught a bird on an upstairs windowsill is not to be trusted with small furry things. I don’t have many options though, better they go live with someone else than we all have to live under a bridge somewhere.

I don’t iron. I’m too good at burning myself in the process, and it doesn’t seem to do much good anyway.

Well, if it didn’t, it’ll still be good ice cream topping, or could work on pancakes/waffles.

Getting the alleged brain booted for deheathenizing, and it feels like something in my upper back wants to pop, but I can’t get it to go.

Filbert, VERY relieved that you’ve got the housing problem solved!

Hello everyone!

Things are progressing nicely out here on the boat. No accidents, no major problems. Data coming in slowly but surely.

Nothing much new to report, honestly!

I agree that Pez is the plural for Pez. I would also accept Pezzies for the cuteness of it.

For those of you who de-heathenated today, I hope it went well!

It also works in cobbler - tastes good, even if it’s not as pretty as slices.

It’s nearly cool and it doesn’t seem to be setting up. Oh well…

I made some yummerrific cinnamon rolls! The recipeis a keeper!!

For somebear who has done next to nuttin’ all day I’s tahrd. I feel like I could go to sleep right now.

Time to assume the knit position. We need a volunteer for tomorrow!!!

I’d volunteer, but I don’t think I can stay up past midnight. Maybe another time.

VACATION TIME = NOW TIME!

I left just in time this afternoon. There was a fire alarm as I was going out the building. I just skittered down the road and got me a spinach burger. I ate it and I’m sad it’s gone now. :frowning:

I think it’s time for me to play with some yarn.

I volunteer! as long as you guys are ok with me posting it at around 11:15 pm Central time? I’ve never done one before and it would be quite the honor.

All in favor?

AYE!

$2.99 starts us off tomorrow!

you forgot:
all opposed?
crickets

Home from Savannah. I missed Gordie.:dubious: I also forgot to update my MMP tab, and posted in last week’s MMP.:smack:

Back from deheathenizing. One class I was in today served brownies.

Gotta get the car scheduled for various things, hopefully PepBoys won’t have too much trouble getting it in tomorrow for things like changing the transmission fluid and oil. Also hoping their guys can figure out that vacuum hose problem (otherwise it’s the dealer$hip $ervice dept.) that is about our last remaining problem with passing smog. Still gotta get new tires (which really are due) and have the brakes inspected.

I am getting really tired of garages and parts stores.

oh man I’m so nervous… what have I gotten myself into!? I need advice from the veterans!!! How does one start a successful MMP?

What if it’s a flop!?

What if the hamsters go on strike just as I’m about to post it?

What if I create a time-paradox that unravels the very fabric of the space-time continuum by jumping the gun and posting a SEP but calling it an MMP!?

Aaaackk!!!

HEE Rosie! I saved cricket in my favs for future use.

Yay for $2.99 startin’ us off! I just know it will be a f-aaaaaa-bu-lous OP!

ETA: $2.99 it is impossible to mess up a MMP. I mean, the whole idea is to take the OP and hijack it to heck and back ten times over. You can post about anything. It’s all really stream of conscious. I could start a MMP about the lamp sittin’ on my desk and by Tuesday mornin’ nobody would remember it. Just go with it.
